I can now see sales corner, next step?

Here goes a daft question or two, now I have access to viewing of the cornucopia of watches for sale (only taken two years to get to over 50 posts) do I have to wait another 10 years to get to 250 before I can post on it and buy any?
Or is the message function the way to go when you are between 50 and 250 posts? I guess after 250, I can then post and sell?

Thanks in advance for basic rule and important to me etiquette advice and maybe I deserve some pointed "read the fine print above - noobie" posts.

If there is something you fancy on SC, no reason why you can’t message the seller offering to buy.

50 posts + 60 days membership = you can view SC but not post.

250 posts + 180 days membership = you can view SC and post there.

After you can view SC and fancy an item on offer PM the seller.

Yeah that confused me a bit. I thought you could only buy via posting replies to sales listings but no you can buy via pm. It takes quite a while to genuinely post 250 posts. I registered over a year ago and still not there.
