If it has been posted before - I missed it, so many thanks.

Great review. Opening day is gonna be a furball with the attention this one has been given, but I’m definitely going to be pitching in for the chance
    to get one.

What is a "Supreme" when it's at home?

I know its only a ‘first impressions’ article, but am I the only person who thinks that is an eminently content-free bit of content there?! Good for ad impressions perhaps, but not much else. I’m mildly surprised, as MMC is a good writer.

Even the photography is not up to their usual standard. It must be the lockdown

Thanks for sharing and though I'm trying to resist buying more watches and its similar to the current PRS-29 which I already have, its still very tempting.

I also was about to post that I thought it was a weak article, but then refrained. Not worth the read.

Nah - that's my fault. I took the photos as well as wrote the words. And, as you can see, I'm not much of a photographer.

Man, you lot can be a bunch of pearl-clutching, sour-faced old women sometimes. It's a perfectly nice review, makes the points nicely and gets what Eddie's trying to do as well. Honestly, this thread is like Statler and Waldorf up in the box during the Muppet Show.

W&W is an excellent column, yes. Its usual quality is much appreciated.
It’s just that when we read articles we want to read something we didn’t know or hadn’t thought of already. We are probably too demanding, yes.

Is it me or does anyone else find this post lacking? It’s really trying hard to be clever but doesn’t really work, because for the most part the thread is complementary to the review - it’s only myself and one or two others who think the review is below par.

There is also (and I might be mistaken) just the slightest whiff, the merest irritating hint of sycophancy about it, which I am sure wasn’t the posters intention. Now there are two of you who need to try a little harder next time

Cool. We were spoilt by two excellent videos on the watches... and print can never compare.

I didn't know those little details on the Consol system...

Nice work, as a first impressions piece it works nicely with some interesting background, and the photos are fine IMO. Not necessarily high art but laudably sharp and clear.

I believe it about 46.5mm or the same as the PRS-29a.

This looks great! I'm surprised how much the cream dial works.

Yes difficult choice between the two dials, have found both work well on field watches.

As an example the BWC Swiss Military 1 from the 80's
