    Cadisen “Royal Oak” has arrived.....

I have to say this is very impressive - it’s a beast of a thing - large - but fine for me

The waffle dial looks fab - lovely bracelet too

    Thoughts?
So much better than a Casio oak mod job for sure

Difficult to tell without seeing it on a wrist. What are the dimensions across from lug-lug and diameter? It is missing the quintessential screw heads.

also that date window - yuck (sorry) - movement (must be) too small for the case.

Just found the dimensions - apparently 46mm lug-lug and 43mm diameter. Compared to my ROO being 50mm lug-lug but 42mm diameter

It's a £50 watch, so you can forgive quite a lot, but I agree about the date window, would be better without one, I think.

    There's supposed to be a 40mm coming.

The date window imo isn’t really that bad
The fact that I can read it is the big bonus
I love these fun cheapies now
My Phoibos sub though is THE best watch I’ve owned in years.... yes for under £100 I don’t worry about it too much, and get lots of comments asking about it and how nice it is!

I believe the under £500 end of the hobby and micro brands are reigniting my interest
