    Share platform?

I'd like to buy a few K of UK listed shares and hold them for a while. What is the most cost effective platform for doing this? Thanks in advance.

I use IG which are very cheap at £3.00 a trade if you trade several times a month, or £8.00 a trade if less often, I find it easy to use and the app is great too.

Also check out Trading212. Doesn’t have full market of shares but still has plenty. Free to use and trade but I think they take a small cut of the market price.
They also offer a referral link which gets you 1 free random share up to value of £100.

I use 212 for individual investments and can’t fault it
I’m planning to invest in ETFs soon and vanguards appears to be a cost effective platform for this. Check it out.
