    114060 help

Hi I need to remove a couple of links from the above and the nearest AD is circa 1.5hrs away.

Can anyone please recommend a screwdriver to assist.

    Thanks

I followed some advice on tz and bought these:

    I would recommend them.

I would add it's worth buying a set of Bergeon grub screws just in case. Only a few pounds.

Mostly I find on cheaper screwdrivers it's not the blade but the grub screws holding them in place that fails to do the job intended.
Loosen up easily and are made from poor materials so they are hard to tighten without destroying them.

Whatever you get, you need a hollow ground screwdriver otherwise you'll wreck the screw heads. I bought a Rolex 2100 screwdriver and it's spot on.

Rolex screws are a joy to work on because they're chunky and fit for purpose. No special screwdriver necessary, just a standard 1.5 or 1.7 is fine.

I always found this little blighter from a Swiss Army Knife was perfect. I have plenty of 'correct' screwdrivers but this is the perfect size.

Are you going to loctite the screws when you've adjusted the bracelet?

+1! Cost a couple of quid from the Victorinox shop. Worked a treat for me.

I have Rolex 2100 on the 114060 bracelet as well, it is spot on. But then the screw came loose, so I went to the Rolex St James and they put loctite.
