Ive been arsing about taking photos of my subs in the sun so thought id update an SOTC as ive not done one for yonks.
I'm done I think.
The subs are the core as im clearly obsessed with them, the seiko is for London to avoid murder, and the g shock is for falling off motorbikes.
The Onsetta I dont really wear, but I like it so it stays.
T'others
Very nice.

Very nice collection. I really like the seiko. Something different from the usual seiko divers we always see.

Its a 1973 World Timer 6117 6400
I think they were available in a few diff colour combinations.
You clearly like a sub - good call on a london watch too, I'm also far too paranoid to wear something nice around town. Fingers crossed on finishing the collection here
lovely collection, and some very nice Subs.
Shouldnt laugh at the london comment, but i did - unfortunately True.
Great taste
Love that Seiko World Time.
No PAMs atm. Last one was a 422.
I seem to have gone to the 40 and below range with the exception of the G Plate.
Lovely collection, especially the Seiko, although I can see exactly why you need it. All you need now is the 5513 from spareparts is selling and you're set!

Nice collection! I love how you have 4 Subs and yet 90% of the comments are asking about the Seiko. Shows we've got true enthusiasts on the forum!
I think the London thing is massively overstated to be honest. Any densely populated area has good and bad parts, and a bit of common sense goes a long way sure, particularly if you're wearing a flashy solid yellow gold Sub! But have either of you ever been bothered for a watch? Or know anything in real life that has? I haven't and I don't.
I wear a Rolex Explorer to work. Admittedly not the most recognisable model, but nevertheless I have never felt unsafe or had anyone even take any notice of it. Lots of folk I notice around with flashier models too. I switch out to a more affordable option if I know I'm going to be going out late in bars having a drink, but that falls into the 'common sense' bucket and is something I'd do in any moderately urban area.
I think an awful lot of people wear expensive watches in London, and inevitably criminals exist and steal things. But I imagine it's a tiny percentage that ever have trouble and then media blows it out of proportion (i.e. insert the sad story of the rich student outside Harrods).
Have to join the plaudits for the World Timer. It’s lovely!!
lovely collection, for me, the pic of the bunch are the seiko and the Onsetta.
Great collection of subs C but a 5513 maxi is crying out for inclusion.

I like the simple elegance of the Onsetta. Lovely.
May I ask what happened to the gold PR-516?
A really nice collection from someone who clearly has their own tastes - no box ticking here! Which sub has the new bracelet?
So let me get this clear , you like subs? . Great collection C all the best for the bike test , and PS you dont need a watch for falling off bikes , as you are not going to:)
Steve
Fantastic!
Looks like you have two non date’s? I’m sure they are different but I’d shift one and get either a 5513 or a 16600.
Seikopath is cool. G-shock even cooler.
Nice, if not a little obsessive C!!
Seiko Anti-Murder - love it.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
You know what you like C!
I approve obviously. I suppose one of the 14060s could go, but 2 lines and 4 lines (COSC) is different enough. FWIW I prefer these to the either the 16600 SD or the 5513. I suppose a GMT of some kind might be an option
The Seiko is cute too :)
Nylon strap on the Sub though! :(

Its going to go on the 16610
The 14060 bracelet is on it at the moment hence the erikas making an appearance!
Rather than multi quoting, M1011 the London comment was a bit tongue in cheek but I work for a grey dealer and when I'm working from branch I'm in a part of Central London thats known for watch muggings (just along the road from selfridges)
Last year we had an armed robbery where they drove scooters through the front of the shop and came in with axes and machetes so in summer when I'm likely to have my sleeves up I wear something that's not going to mark me out whenever I go for coffee. I feel a bit like I've got a target on my back by virtue of going in and out so always wear something non-identifiable.
Wiley don't start on the 5513, 4 black subs would be insanity ;)
I've also got a lip nautic ski but it's having its plexi replaced at the minute thanks to saint-just so I dont have a current pic but will add it to the snoopy when I'm next on comp. Its a shame they haven't made a watch for people with duff memories.
Here it is before I killed it.

Yeah, i really liked the tintin.
My dad has an older speedy pro though and often borrows my 14060 and I wear his moonwatch when he's doing that so I still feel like I have a shot of one without owning. The only one he isn't allowed access to is the 5513 cos when he wears a watch never takes it off.
I dont either but then again I dont regularly do DIY and have never handed a hulk back to its owner with new clasp scratches because "ive been re-pointing the garden wall" (FFS)
I'm totally with you on living in London! I need to get myself a stealth watch.
That Seiko looks so cool on the Marine Nationale!
Lovely collection and thanks for sharing. Have 2 Subs myself - totally get your point on the London murder scene.
S
Great collection..shocking G shock
No room for an AP then C?

LOL!
I remember many years ago wearing a new Subdate when a hegecutter blade bounced off the strap and I was glad it had protected my wrist and had proved to me it’s tough credentials! I wish I was that carefree about my watches now!
