It looks like the gunk actually prevented the pin from falling out...

Nothing to worry about, that bracelet would stay together without any pins .

“A few desk diving marks and the usual swirlies”.

I love Jocke’s photos, and I’m always happy to see a watch being worn as it should be. Or in Jocke’s case, as it shouldn’t be. I remember you recently (ish) cleaned it all up. I’m glad to see it taking further punishment. :)

    Honestly,

seeing a high end watch being mistreated like this makes me cry sooner then laugh. I know your watch and you can do what you like with it but seeing all the gunk on the bracelet and how you just strap it on a car wheel makes me believe strongly you shouldn't be wearing such a nice timepiece and stick to a cheap casio or something similar.
    Not feeling the love...

I had a screw go all the way, after a bracelet resizing (by the OD)...luckily it was freezing cold and my hands were buried deep in my coat pocket.

Short drop into old tissues/receipts etc. Scared the crap out of me though!

    Nice job with the cleaning.

It is good to an 'oldie' getting some regular wear.

Life would be very boring without people like Jocke! Looks like you’re having fun with your watch... how anyone can say you don’t deserve to do that confuses me...

After the famous Timex torture test ads of the 60s, maybe Jocke should produce a series of Rolex torture tests for 2020!
