    36mm PRS29-AM

    Hi,

Looking to change out the NATO strap on this and wonder if the Timefactors 2-Piece Nylon With Deployant Clasp will fit? If not do you have any recommendations?

    Cheers

How about something like canvas or cordura in two-piece?
And now, for something completely the same.

No unfortunately, at least going by the info at

    https://www.timefactors.com/tftwopcnylonstrap.htm

The AM has 18mm lug spacing and the two piece nylon with deployant is only available in 20mm.

I think this watch looks best on a leather strap...

I thought the nylon strap might fit, as I am sure there is a picture on the site of a PRS29-A with one?

    That's the 29B.

    It's not a confirmation. The 29b has 20mm lugs. Yours is a 29a with 18mm lugs.

    What are your requirements?

Looking online, there seems to be plenty of 2 piece Zulus, if you don’t mind the larger rings. Personally I think it might overwhelm an 18mm lug.

If you aren’t against the pass through one piece design, I personally love the RAF style NATOs from MARTAC. Well made nylon without all that extra NATO hardware.

They also have this NOS strap if you are looking for authentic

If you would consider leather, I am huge fan of this guy

    Here’s my 29AM on a one piece

As suggested, Cordura, canvas, etc opens up a huge range of choices.

Check out MARTACs two piece composite straps, Haveston, or Barton for some ideas.

As I said, without knowing what you want to change from Eddie’s default NATO, which is honestly a pretty high quality strap, my suggestions might or might not be what you’’re looking for.

The originals no doubt would have come on 2-piece, open-ended, brown pigskin.

As you say. However, the OP was originally looking for NATO replacements, so these suggestions are just throwing strap spaghetti against the wall and seeing what sticks.

And that includes a nice pigskin 2 piece, should it meet his needs.
