Recommend me a military style watch

Really like the CWC G10 but needs to have 20mm or 22mm lug width.

    Budget under £500.

    What can you recommend?

    Thanks

Depends what you mean by style. Do you want a military watch or one that is a homage. There are plenty of brands doing homages like Steinhart doing their take on the Milsub in 39mm and 42mm with the lug width that you are looking for. Borealis and others do homages to the Omega SM300.

Might be worth checking out the CWC website, their dive watches fit the spec, but prices have risen in recent years and you might have to spend a bit more.

You mentioned the G10 and within budget you have the whole range from a brand new one right back to a 1980 fatboy from the first year of release.

Personally I would compromise on the lug size and buy a genuine G10 fatboy from 1980 or 1982 but I'm biased.

Surely there's only one answer here.

Hi why does it need to have 20mm or 22mm lug width? I've got a g10 and I used 20mm cheapest nato or bark and jack seatbelt natos and they fit ok

Yeah I use 20mm on my CWC G10's. They're a tight squeeze to fit but once in they're fine.

Lugs are actually 19mm so that extra 1mm is no big deal.
