Does anybody have any pictures of the PRS-25 White dial on a leather strap, please?

Looking forward to Sunday, this is the best iteration of the Everest so far personally I think, let's hope I can get lucky when the shop opens for 30 mins.

Think I'll get another black dialled Everest, best to have both dial variants for completeness.

It would be so amazing if this one was offered with "oldschool" logo and ghost-free miyota

Original dial with the upgraded bracelet is the sweet spot for me.
Prefer the Smiths logo on its own but this is cracking too.
I bought my son the original 36mm a couple of years ago for his 21st with the bulkier clasp.
Is the new bracelet worth buying separately to replace the original?
I think it's fifty something pounds.

These can be very personal choices as you know. But in my opinion, having experienced both, I’d definitely part with £5x for the newer bracelet.

I also bought the original 36mm, the original bracelet was never worn and I gave it away in return for a donation to Eddie's fundraiser. It completely unbalanced the watch. It was on Natos or leather for over a year as I searched in vain for a suitable (to me) alternative. Even parallel 20mm Natos never quite worked, but a nicely tapered leather strap was a good match. Fortunately Eddie released the 20>16mm bracelet and I now have it on one of those, which was £46, excellent value at that price.

Will order one then though that nice green nato on the incoming thread looks rather fetching with it

I've been mithering for weeks over the 29/A, 29/AM, and the 36mm Everest in all three guises. Decided that I need a black dialled Everest in the end, so will hopefully make the cut tomorrow.

    Hello all,

Hope this is the right place for this question, lots of talk about the PRS-25 (https://www.timefactors.com/prs25black.htm#) and bracelet here so hoping someone can enlighten me.

The website has an option for what I will call the standard PRS-25 and then for £46 more the stainless steel rivet bracelet. What's the difference between the two please? Is it simply that the extra £46 gets you the more tapered bracelet that I've read about here and elsewhere or is there something else I'm missing? Would buying the "standard" version not have this bracelet?

    Thanks in advance all.

I believe that the PRS-25 comes with the new tapered rivet bracelet as standard. The £46 is to buy the same bracelet on its own, useful for those who bought the older version and want to upgrade/update.

Edit: the description on the website lays it out quite clearly I think, buying the watch gets you the new tapered rivet bracelet.

I've read this webpage a few times over the course of the last few months but now you say it, it's so bleeding obvious....feel so sheepish.

    Thank you Colin :D

It looks great, solid links are good quality and had a vintage vibe. I found if difficult to get a good fit, the rivet bracelet limit the number of micro adjusts, tends to be 'scratchy' and the clasp has a tendency to pop open. It probably depends on your wrist but I think the watch deserves a better bracelet, especially if you plan to have the Everest as a daily wearer.

I looked before and there are no 40mm PRS-25 listed so not sure how you would do an online order tomorrow.

If I have missed something here grateful if someone could post a link to where they are?

Hoping for a Black dial Everest, or an Expedition. Both would be nice.

I am going for the new logo black dialed Everest. Had the first batch of the second version before the handset change but let it go. I like this new version with the new logo better, and I won't be letting this one go.

Agreed, I much prefer this version of the logo.
Although I’m undecided on the rivet bracelet.

First time purchasing at the shop, how does the checkout work?
    PayPal option? Is Amex accepted?

I don’t want to miss out fumbling through my wallet. TIA.

I will be there at 2pm but have a philological approach to this and won't be getting agitated if I am not successful. Can alway post a WTB in the hope that I can catch one of the early flippers I guess.

Many thanks. I just noticed the ordering info page and no mention of Amex so I’ll go with the old debit card.

As far as I saw on this forum, there should be another email with purchase confirmation (if the purchase was made in time), am I right?

EDIT: Nvm, I've just got one. I'm in fellas! Thanks for this lovely adventure, now I'm waiting for my Explorer and I'll keep lurking the forums afterwards still! Good luck to everyone else. Cheers.

Was in and a 36 black Everest in the basket at 1400. Visa refused by bank (according to Sage), then debit card fail through some fraud rule. Heart rate rising... am I going to miss out again?

Got back to the basket and went with the Visa card again and it went through at 1405. Surely that snags me one!

    Nope, still not working.
Anyway, it's not like I'm trying to get one of hot ticket items, just a strap. I hope everyone that's been waiting for the PRS 25 manages to get one: I have the white dial version and it's a cracking watch.

This is standard. Waiting game now to see if you made the cut for the available stock. I missed out on the first batch of Expeditions in the same circumstances after it had seemed to go through. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Had a bit of a scare when my credit card was declined but only for fraud protection (American here). That one minute of re-entering my credit card info was agonizingly long. Happy to say I got what I wanted! Best of luck to everyone today.
