Anyway, it's not like I'm trying to get one of hot ticket items, just a strap. I hope everyone that's been waiting for the PRS 25 manages to get one: I have the white dial version and it's a cracking watch.
I couldn’t access the TF site via the link above but no problem if going to the site directly.

I've had the same and thought that this is due to using the Revolut card (I'm from outside the UK), but it went in after I moved all the money to my country's currency, and then afterwards there was another confirmation window in the order process, so only then I moved the money back to GBP and it finally went in.

    PRS 25 open for purchase

The mad dash for the Everest made ordering the Baby Speedbird very straightforward.

Can’t believe the Speedbird was 50% off as well.*

*Joking about the discount, but I did get my order in easily.

Reminds me of buying concert tickets for a favourite band. It’s all part of the experience I think!

Frustrating as it might be, far far more enjoyable than sucking up to an AD (imho)...

Tell me about it, after placing my order I'm thinking jeez that's quite a intense shipping experience....checking your details make sure it's correct, then wait for my bank code to process the payment, and back and forth reading comments on here...

As it might take a few weeks to process orders, Eddie might only take payment when ready for shipping? Alternatively, Eddie can preview orders and prevent some chancers from hoovering multiple pieces which would then be resold at a premium

You don’t get charged until the order is ready to ship, according to the info page.

    So I wouldn’t worry.

    Luckily my order went through.
Always worry about the credit card company rejecting the charge. Had issues before getting rejected when ordering overseas. Couldn't even login to my credit card account to verify the charge. They were slow in sending a login verification code. Ended up having to use another credit card with higher fees.

    Why wouldn’t it be?

The other confirmation, from Eddie, might be in your junk/spam folder. Mine was.

    After...
~ a long wait between shop opening windows,
    ~ the anticipation created,
~ the limited run of each watch,
~ the hype about new designs,
~ the frantic bidding to get one’s order accepted,
~ the relief of being accepted, and
~the nervousness about whether it will even ‘make the cut’,
...I can see why people LOVE their TF watches. It’s much more egalitarian than the AD system of the big brands, far more exciting, and what a sense of achievement if successful.

    Good luck to everyone! ??

Brings me back to the days of ordering a new phone on the release day. In one case the server crashed so hard they cancelled the release and needed a couple of weeks until they figured out a better ordering process.

I was on the fence 36 or 40. However, I was truly afraid of how it would look on my 7,5" wrist (flat top) and since Eddie wrote he won´t be stocking these any more in 40mm,
left the 36 for the next time (perhaps even white dial).

But that riveted bracelet and tapering to 16 is so gorgeous on 36

Ordered the PRS-25 - 36mm black dial without problem - smooth transaction from start to finish. I can't wait to see it in the flesh and have it on wrist.

I love my TF watches for non of the above reasons.

I love my TF watches because they’re excellent watches at amazingly good prices.

Alas I did miss out on my 40mm - I got my Dear John note on Monday. I also ordered an Everest 36 and a baby Dreadnought but so far (fingers crossed) not heard that I haven’t got those. As far as I recall my 36 went through at 14.04 and the Dread later. I added the 40 to the pile after 14.20 so not surprising none left although the purchase was accepted and I got both the Sage and Roman Cart emails. I could not get the site to load at all until 14.02 which made me say bad words about all Apple devices.

Another great video - love the slower movement of the watch in shots so the viewer can really appreciate the case shape - not something all reviewers achieve.

Thank you for all the close ups. It's indeed the best version so far. I wonder if there's still any room for improvement.

only thing that comes to mind is new dial colors, which appears to be in the works according to the PRS-25 Silver Jubilee thread

The only real improvement has already been made ie the slimmed down bracelet. All else is aesthetics and subjective.

Another one of mine, and thanks for the kind comments - will sort out a proper review in a couple of weeks, but I was particularly keen to get this vid up to share the new dial. I love it!

A thinner minute hand or a bigger hour hand + a truly vintage clasp like in a prototype version for me.

Great video of your initial thoughts and giving another showstopper from Timefactors its due attention.

I am looking forward to receiving mine even more since seeing this.

Mine arrived today, it's now sized up and perfect on the wrist, minimal rotor noise for a miyota so that's a bonus
