A 36mm Everest just went for £560 on the Bay.......at that price, would it temp anyone the part with theirs?

No Sir! But then I buy watches because I like them and want to wear them. The residuals and futures nonsense has no place in my watch lexicon. I wonder how much my PRS-5 Broadarrow might fetch?

Whilst I don't have a PRS-5 we certainly share similar opinions regarding profits and residuals, l don't buy "on a whim" nor have I ever claimed that a watch was "a keeper" only to flip it 3 weeks later.

Ta, that's handy to know should the Dornbluth madness ever recur and I have to sell up! ;-)
