How to block a thread ?

I still feel a little nauseous after clicking on new posts and being slapped by a ‘Pelts and Pits’ thing. Whilst I’m sure the young lady is charming Its really not for me.

How do I block that thread ?

Don't think you can. I've messaged Eddie once before to have the boy's room removed and that was fine but doubt it's possible for individual threads.

Just don't click on it? I think I saw it once but was never tempted to click again or ever clicked it by accident. It's not my thing.

I think if in Tapatalk depending on your settings, it might automatically display images so you could see the images without clicking on anything...

Yes tapatalk does show an image as a preview. And invariably it’s something dodgey just as someone is walking past you.

You can turn this off in settings though.

I would quite like to do this with some of the bear pit threads which fall firmly into car crash territory, and sometimes you can’t help but look.

Some of the regular contributors to those threads actually remind me of the pits and pelts thread (which I also have no desire to return to)

there are only 2 or 3 of the 5 knuckle shuffle threads.

when you know their names its easy to avoind the, i only clicked on them once before i knew what they were

    I didn’t click on it, honest !

I clicked on ‘New’ or ‘Unread’ and got what looked like road kill displayed ( or splayed to be more precise).

This doesn’t help you, but I’m forever grateful to whoever it was that first shared this link, which gets new posts but excludes The Bore Pit:

I know how to ensure it comes up at the absolute top as a highlighted thread, but I’ve no idea how to block it, sorry

Thanks. I wonder if the reference to exclude=20 and the bear pit being 20 ( assuming numbering starts at zero). I guess I will have to do some experiments.

For the avoidance of doubt if you see my profile in the beavers and buns section, I’m doing an experiment !

Thank you, I'd never thought of looking in settings, doh!
Simply done, and now I dont accidentally see what looks like a hatchet wound on a gorillas back when I scroll through Boy's Room.

I’ve heard many mention the bear pit but it doesn’t appear on my forum list? It it hidden or part of another forum?

Think you need 250 posts to see BP.
