Has to be a system issue somewhere.

Yes I had the same problem, added to the cart all ok but £0.00 showing in the price field. Oh well, maybe it wasn't meant to be.

LOL Too much excitement for me nowadays on a Sunday! I'd told myself if I didn't get one I'd buy an Airman 36 - just as well I had one more try before I did!!

System seems to be working fine now.

I haven't felt an adrenaline rush like this buying something online before! Even getting concert tickets pales into insignificance.

I think I’d like to have a strap option for mine when it arrives.

Anyone got any pointers as to straps that might be good to try out?

I have a spare MN type strap but it’s 20mm so probably won’t fit the 18mm of the Willard.

Thinking a nice rubber one would be good. Not a long diving one though.

Really want a waffle strap but can't source an 18mm one anywhere.

  18. #68
Their are a few on eBay. Admittedly mostly 20/22mm but there are a few 19mm which would fit.
Pretty sure I seen the odd 18mm but they were cheaper versions @ around £6.95

Thank you. Im thinking of getting a 19mm one and shaving it slightly

  20. #70
At 19mm you really shouldn't need to shave it. It's rubber & 1mm will compress easily.

Barton do a whole bunch of silicone straps, including this waffle-type in lots of colours: https://www.bartonwatchbands.com/col...elite-silicone

Thanks for all the helpful responses! Think I'll get a 19mm and go from there.

Suspect that's because of the system glitch that quoted £0:00 for the watch when you tried to check out. This wasn't corrected until about twenty minutes into the order window.

I imagine, therefore, that most of us who ordered the PRS68 are towards the end of the line for despatch.

I will, however, I've been waiting for the reissue of this watch for ages and the smaller proportions will suit my flat, 7.5 inch wrist perfectly. So I can't see me not loving it!

I thought the shop was opening again in 12 to 17 days?

Is it going to be longer?

18 - 20 days. Even says so, when you try and place an order.

But as I understood it - rather than the shop Open and then close as soon as a certain number of watches were sold ( thus allowing it to open every 2-weeks) the shop was going to be open for 30 minutes - and therefore the variable becomes the period when it next is open; rather than how long it remains open for on that day.

I think the 30 minute option is better - as that gives you time to browse - and add more items - rather than face the uncertainty of now knowing when the shop was going to close - so you only add 1 item and try and check-out quick before it closes on you.

This new method of it opens at 2pm and closes at 2:30pm avoids 'the scrum' and is much more preferable IMHO.

    Getting A Bit Worried

I ordered successfully on Sunday & got the 2 email's 1 from Sage Pay & 1 from Timefactors confirming my order & the money was taken.
Today I was just looking at my bank account & it looked like I had more money than I should have so after looking through my payment the one for Timefactors has disappeared.
Is this normal? I mean is it released by Sage Pay after so long then taken again when shipped.
I know I have had that happen with Amazon so I was just wondering if it's normal for Timefactors.

It's likely that the money wasn't actually taken out of the account, but put on hold until the seller is ready to deliver.

It Probably is that but I just found it a bit strange because it actually was shown as taken.
It looked something like 2/08/2020 Balance £1000.00 available 656.00 & the Watch payment showing as pending but today nothing pending & balance back to £1000.00
those aren't exact figures but you get the gist. Like I said I have had it happen on Amazon when something is not in stock but I was just asking if this is the norn for Timefactors.

I mean my order is in & accepted & the money is available to be taken I just found it a bit strange.

If I remember correctly Eddie doesn't take payment until the item is shipped.

Yeah I guess it's a waiting game so when the wait is over the money in will be taken.

In anticipation of its arrival, I've bought a 19mm UncleSeiko waffle strap and looking forward to trying it out.

Still anticipate about a week before the watch gets to me, however.

    Sounds cool!

Do you think the straps for these will require any particular style of ends, or will most 18mm ones fit?

I may have to sandpaper the strap end slightly to fit the 18mm lugs but what I have bought feels very supple and may flex enough.

Watch doesn't appear to have hooded lugs so I would have thought any 18mm strap should fit. Clearly don't know for sure until I actually receive it. I've gone for the combo I've always wanted - I don't get on with NATO straps much as I'd like to so it won't be going on one. If the silicone doesn't fit, it will go on the bracelet.

Not me, as yet. Think I was order 205. The initial problems with the site order system mean I guess those of us who ordered this one are near the end of the queue.

Sadly yes. No notification here yet either.
