Gained 5 seconds in 24 hours - I'll take that! It'll be interesting to see what rhythm it settles into.
New lume shots showing the orange marker (faint, but there):

Had 3 emails from UPS - first and last saying that they had missed me and so rescheduled for tomorrow and the middle one saying delivered and "met customer woman" ...

Actually they had partially climbed the fence that the post box is attached to and left it on top of the bins that are just behind there ... Couriers what would we do without them!

Like the new style presentation from Eddie - the case and booklet look very professional.

Stuck on a conference call so pictures will have to wait I'm afraid.

#2019 here. Got the dispatch email, but no tracking info yet. Got the notification yesterday, so I’m anxious. Got some Nick Mankey straps for the Dreadnought.

My order was confirmed last Sunday at 14:04, number 2068, it'll take as long as it takes, "patience is a virtue" as mum used to say.

Order 2041 dispatched yesterday and received this morning. Very very pleased with it - looks bigger in photos than in reality. It's a hefty little thing - 150g with 4 links removed - about the same as my 42nm Explorer II. The bezel alignment is fractionally out, but other than that, it's a perfectly-formed little (and weighty) gem.

Tried and failed to capture it (too bright outside) but I love the slight dome on the crystal and the way it meets the bezel.

    It’s a lovely looking thing. I can’t quite understand how that’s a 38mm watch, it looks like it’s 41mm at least..

It looks much bigger in some of these photos than it does in reality. To me it's like a totally realistic scale model! It really is quite dinky.

I tried taking some photos earlier but they didn't come out very well. I'll try again today and see if I can capture the size realistically. The best attempt I made at that involved taking a wrist shot in a mirror, but there wasn't enough light, so it didn't come out very well. Watches generally look much bigger than they really are in normal wrist shots because the camera is too close and it creates a foreshortening illusion, although this seems to affect the Baby Dreadnought far more than most for some reason.

Rubbish attempt, but this might give an idea of size (7.25inch wrist).

Mine on my 5.9'' left wrist.

And on my 6.1'' right wrist (I play a lot of tennis! )

And some close ups, showing the finishing. Which is superb.

Wrist shot isn't wanting to come out so here's a quick size comparison shot I took on Wednesday but didn't get around to posting:

Doesn't quite capture the size difference perfectly, but you can at least see it's noticeably smaller than some "normal sized" divers (the Seiko is 44mm but famously looks & wears more like 40mm). The CWC is 41mm excluding the crown.

Does wear smaller than you'd think, I guess the steel bezel helps create that illusion but its a hefty lump with good wrist presence. After wanting a
Dreadnought for so long having one my wrist is able to carry off is welcome.

My clasp was quite hard to close, it needed a button to be pressed to help it click in on the wrist but after closing it a dozen or so times off the wrist (where I could get a better press) it seems to have loosened.

Well done Eddie, cracking watch and thanks for the swift dispatch.

My clasp is also hard to close. It doesn’t seem to loosen up here. Anyone else has this problem?

A little stiff but I just close it with the buttons rather than put pressure on it, it'll ease up over time no worries.

    Nato straps

Looks great on that black strap, which is awesome, as my daughter (who I bought it for) is currently "into black".
In the meantime, this beautiful, perfectly sized watch will remain in its case until she's old enough to wear it!

    Excellent on Eulit black perlon.

Good on Time Factor's nato (mounted for single pass only).

Not so good on Barton canvas.

    Pretty good lume.

I'm obviously not a photographer, but these may give some idea of this as being something of a strap monster...

My Baby Dreadnought has gained 25 seconds in 4.5 days, has been kayaking, hiking and river swimming, has been tried on five separate straps (only one didn't look great!), but is best on the bracelet, which I've re-sized three times (only because of the heat).

    This thing is awesome!

As someone else said - great pics and it sure suits your wrist!

Didn't go for one myself because I'm not a fan of matt/blasted cases but reconsidering now! From the other pics, seeing as how the lug holes are pretty near the end of the lugs and the case is quite chunky, it looks like there is quite a bit of case side on view between the lugs with a nato or two piece strap....

Thanks for the kind words. I see what you mean about using the watch with straps, but it's not something I personally notice in practice. I think this watch belongs on its bracelet though.

I think it depends on which micro adjust holes on the clasp you're using. With the bracelet on the last of the holes, I initially wasn't able to close the clasp (at all) without pushing the clasp release buttons. But adding an additional link and then using the 4th of the micro adjusts, the clasp now works fine.

Agree great watch and suits its bracelet, though my example after initially gaining 5 seconds on day 1 has since been loosing time and is now 27 seconds slow. Mind its been sharing wrist time with a CWC G10 I wear for work, so not getting a full days self wind.

Mine has now arrived, have resized the bracelet, although one of the links is misthreaded and the screw won't come out, luckily I was able to work around it.

Unfortunately my bezel is mis-aligned so although I'm happy with the quality of the watch I'm left slightly disappointed.

How weird; it doesn't look small at all. It looks just spot on. I had one of the originals, long ago sold, and think I actually prefer the way this looks in terms of size. I hope if the ana-digital ever gets made (CN= Cybernought) that it'll be in these dimensions.

Congratulations to all the new lucky owners.

    0072 arrived safely this morning

My Baby Dreadnought # 0072 arrived safely to the other side of Sheffield this morning,it was on the wrong UPS van but fortunately because of their great drivers it got transferred en-route and still arrived on time.
Thank you so much Eddie, it is perfect as my new daily wearer,I love it.
Fitted just by clasp adjustment fortunately as the bracelet screws are tiny and didn't have to take any out.

No 69 Sized and ready to go - I used a 1.2 mm screwdriver. I have 7.75 inch wrist for reference.
