Looking very nice indeed, Mr P.

Just like the 'adult' one (sans GMT) and I do like the detail on the crown.

Very nice - regret selling the original ones I’ve had, this will be a keeper if I strike lucky.

Is the bezel reduced in height over the standard model? If so, that makes it much better (for me)

    Any wrist shots Eddie?

So that's 38mm? If so I think it's absolutely fantastic.

Looks great - If I didn't already have a Voyager, this would be right up there on my 'to buy' list!

I have to agree with snowman - its a diver watch and an oversized minute hand is preferable IMHO

Does this have an iron dial to achieve the 20,000 A/m?

Yes, and you can see (in the drawing) it is 0.8mm thick, thicker than average, as part of the same requirement

It's a matter of taste. To me it looks like an aftermarket for SKX mods.
But the case has beautiful shapes. The dial is also great, although it would be better without a date.

This is a smaller version of a classic released very early on; if you wanted to influence the design you would have needed to join the forum many many years ago. As it is, you're just insulting a beloved design, which won't get you very far.

    I condemn myself!

Boy, take it easy. It's just a watch, and you treat my comment as if I insult your mother.

    Hoo-boy, you're new here, aren't you?

    ---

Great design, if it utilised some kinda case-hardening technique to reduce "scratchability", I'd happily pay double the asking.

That would be a first for Eddie, I'd happily pay more for a tegiment like coating as well.

It's not a matter of Taste (which suggests you, alone, have it, while others don't), but I'll concede it's a matter of opinion.

The trouble is, you've approached it from the wrong angle - This is a tool watch, designed to do a job as effectively as it can.

Plenty of desk diver out there that will suit your taste better (I'm sure Timefactors themselves have some that would!), but this watch isn't designed to look good in the office or the bar, it's designed to be super clear at depth, it does that perfectly, day or night (with a bit of torchlight to fire up the lume).

Just wondering Eddie, do you have a favourite out of the three Babies? I know they're all your babies, and we're not meant to have favourites, but we all do, sort of, don't we? Which is yours?

It changes but I do give them all some wrist time. At the moment it's the Willard.

That's a good looking watch. I'm not a fan of plongeur hands at all, but I may have to get past that for this one.

Another order here; had been trying to resist buying more watches with a home renovation project coming up next year but Eddies email reminder regard today's shop opening worked.

Fingers crossed ,I was really slow couldn’t remember memorable name and got locked out on 1st card and had to start again with another.

Although I've bought a few watches from Eddie before, this will be my first high demand release-day order. I got in fairly quickly (completed by 2 minutes past). Fingers crossed I made it onto the podium.

From those who've done this before, when do people normally hear if their order actually got accepted?

I'm away at work and was in the process of checking out a few work scopes with a few people, had to make my excuses and dash back to my desk 14:00, order email from Eddie confirmed at 14:01, and here was me thinking our poor bandwidth would see me miss out haha...

I got 2: one from Sagepay saying card accepted but payment not taken yet, then another from TF saying payment taken (both came through more or less instantly). So if the order has to be cancelled, you will never get that 2nd email?
