My first Christopher Ward. I was browsing the sale last week and this looked pretty different so went for it. It's a C7 Rapide automatic.

Cheers Alec, I am, of course, very, very happy with this lovely Chopard !

Wears very comfortably and it is a bit different to some of my more frequently-worn sporty watches.

I am a bit anxious though about dinting the white gold but as you know I am a wearer-not-a-starer, of my watches.

    Best wishes

    Gary

I rather like that - I was always quite disappointed by the Tridents I had, but recently I was wearing my Makira and developed a new found respect for it (0 spd accuracy is enough in itself!).

Their newer watches are definitely more distinctive in the main and look very nicely made.

PAM on canvas today. Just home after driving the length of the island and back, so green is appropriate.

The sun returned today so it it seemed only right to bring out a sunburst dial.

    Enjoy your weekend.

Bought one of those for my Lad (he’’s 14) as his first proper watch. Almost kept it for myself. Love the dial. HAGWE

    Better late than........

Been wearing this for a week, I'd forgotten what a brilliant watch they are. With the slim case they are so 'wearable' and the 1120 movement can be very accurate. (this one is!) Been wearing the latest Seamaster before it, so definitely noticed the size and weight difference.

Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

I've been without mine for five months now and really do miss it. Probably won't get to wear it again until Christmas.

I actually miss all of them, as I only have the Speedmaster (from that bunch) with me.

It proves that we can live without our trinkets... but we don't want to
