    BB58 Blue Strap Options

Given there now appear to be quite a few owners on TZ, how about some strap inspiration. It should lend itself well to a variety of colour / material options. Tried mine on a rubber strap today.

Look forward to seeing if others have tried it on anything different and how it worked.

The gap looks far to large for me.

And the fact the strap is black and not blue, such a faux pas.

I'd like to see one on the Timefactors Coyote strap.

Crafter Blue in the dark blue`ish color. They make one specific to black bay and it fits perfect with no gap and follows the case properly.

I have one on a Seiko and they are very nice

    BB58 Blue Strap Options

Colareb has beautiful blue leather straps. I have two of them for the bigger BB blue.

Paul at Scurfa posted a pic on one of his rubber straps and it looked pretty good.

When I get mine it's going straight onto a blue Erika's Original:

Saw this pic left by a reviewer on WatchObsession of the Erika's Trident with grey stripe. It would be between the grey stripe and the plain blue as far as an Erika's strap goes.

Otherwise, tricky watch to pair with a strap because of the gap. Something chunky and retro inspired would sit well.

Looks great on a nato. Not sure about the black strap on post 1. That gap doesn’t look great on what is a small case.

One of the problems I have found with trying to match a strap to a coloured dial is that if it isn't exactly right it clashes really badly IMO. I had a Rado Captain Cook in the limited grey colour which was fantastic but it didn't look right on any grey strap I tried, or black - the supplied grey NATO it came with matched perfectly though but wasn't very comfy. I feel the same about the BB58 Blue, and it's partly why I prefer the original and prefer it on a bracelet!

It might sound unlikely but I wore mine on a di modell caracus from their nobel house range for a while. Which is a black leather possibly more suited to a patek, but i really liked it. And with the patented strap ventilation it makes for a very comfortable option.

Agree, gap is not ideal in post 1. Was looking at the new tudor blue strap and the gap is also there with that one. Am considering ordering one...

Haveston Blue parade straps? These are dark navy blue and might go well with the Tudor.

I think the Vanguard rubber looks great.

This arrived from Georgesstraps today and I'm very pleased.

That to my eyes is a good match and I am sure a fair bit cheaper than the Tudor nato.

Suede nato on mine at the moment...

The crafter blue and vanguard look very similar. Quite a price differential - any obvious differences in quality ?

Do Crafter Blue do one for the BB58? I thought they only did the 41mm version (i.e. 22mm lug width rather than 20mm on the BB58)?

Just got mine and slipped it straight onto a Haveston strap I got from benny.c off SC last week. I love the look and it feels soooo comfortable.

It does. But I also received this Haveston in the post today and I think it might even work better...matching combination of silver white and blue I think doesn’t look too much like I won the watch at the fair.

Spotted this a while ago on Scurfa watches instagram. One of their straps (which are good quality). Paul states he colour matched the blue for one of his watches.
Going to pick one up for mine I think.

When I was looking the other day, I was thinking "what this needs is a nice faded admiralty grey Phoenix NATO". But a grey 3-ring Zulu like this might also fit.

Like older Subs I think the BB58 has enough shiney surfaces not to need dressing up, so I would dress it down.

These look great, makes me think I want a BB Blue rather than an original 58

I’ll give the vanguards straps another vote whilst I admire the natos.
