    Stopclock

The wife has a need for a stopclock, and were struggling to find anything that fits the bill. So wondered if anyone had any suggestions.

The larger the better within reason but at least 15cm long.
    Easy to use
    Clear buttons
    Clear display ideally illuminated
Preferably battery operated but mains at a push.

I'm not sure I understand what you are looking for, but would a darkroom clock fit the bill? Som'at like this?

Sorry should have said it needs to be digital.
It's going to be used to time seizures in a hospital, the staff currently use fob watches etc which aren't that accurate or read as easily as a digital display would be.

I think I may need to get the soldering iron out and have a go myself.

Electrically induced seizures or the naturally occurring variety?

^ I think that’s a clock only, no stopwatch function.
    Cheers..

A lab timer should be ideal.

My wife, who has some (professional) experience in this area, suggests videoing the seizures (which can be variable in their presentation) and taking the timings from the video.

Hospitals will also hook people up to EEG machines for an accurate trace of brainwave abnormalities.

The trouble is when a patient is having a seizure it takes time to look at a video, a stopclock can be started when a seizure is noticed and can be viewed quickly and easily.
The patients will be in a room being filmed as well.

Search Amazon for Gym Timers & Large Kitchen Timers.

Here's a fairly big kitchen timer; just double press the start/stop button to start it counting up:

    Another one:

Here's a sample gym timer with remote control - that might be confusing though:

Just ordered the first one on your links a little smaller than she wants but give it a go and see if it works.
    Thanks
