They’re laughing at their potential punters. Coax them in then sneeringly dash their hopes.

Ha! Had an email from another salesperson who I don't deal with after enquiring about a Rolex recently who promised they would get the watch into the store for me to view.I was very tempted to ask to view a stainless gmt or daytona!

If you check on google Mappin and Webb are showing the Ceramic GMT BLRO as in stock, so I sent them an e-mail asking if I could buy it, just to piss them off and waste their time. They invited me into the store so that I can explore the range and be offered the watches in the window that no one else wants to buy.

It looks like they are confused about the definition of "more". You have to have "some", before you can have "more".

Familiar story. I've recently owned 2 steel sports Rolex and I still fail to see the rediculous hype.

It’s true there always nice watches inside the safe you just need to crack the code with your sales people.

Why does everything about Rolex always reeks of desperation?

Indeed. Watch Paul Thorpe's latest video explaining a rolex AD asking a customer to spend £30k on other watches and jewellery to get himself the 'chance' to buy a no date Sub!

I don't know what the desperation is to bag a steel rolex is, i really don't.

Are people really going to still buy a steel Daytona if the cost goes to £40k or £50k!???? WHY?
