    Speedmaster question

    Hi folks,

Might sound like a stupid question but is the right subdial on speedmaster pro minute counter?

    Cheers,
    Mick

I believe it is Mick, a minute counter for the chronograph.

Yes. The right (3 o’clock) is the minute chronograph hand.

rrr the left dial (9 o’clock) is the second hand BTW

Look, I'm sorry to mention this, but you spent god knows how much on a Speedy and you don't /didn't know how it works? You did no research beforehand?

    WOW.

    Best of luck to you.

Bit harsh. Do you read the manual for your new car before the purchase?

Context is everything... My watch is not with me at the moment and I was looking for a replacement hand for the right sub dial.. it was listed as minute hand but then I started wondering are the hands the same on all three dials.. thanks for helping..

Generic handsets are available from Cousins, quality is excellent (not a term I use lightly) and they are indiscernible from the originals. Only problem is the tight fit, they need broaching very carefully and this is not a task for a novice.

Note that the diameter of the holes on the subdial hands are different, possibly the running seconds and minute counter are the same ( not certain ) but the hr counter is different. Trying to buy second- hand replacements is likely to be a fools errand, I don’t recommend it.
