Reason is you can’t buy a new one unless you are a boutique customer who has purchased a fair few high end watches over a few years. Lange HQ do the allocations.
In case you were wondering - a Lange & Söhne Odysseus came back on the market today on Chrono 24. I wondered if maybe the reseller was selling this £24k watch off cheap.
No such luck - they just came back with their price - £48.5k! Flipping heck, that makes BLRO GMT premium seem quite reasonable.
I won't be buying an Odysseus this week 🙂
