    Selfridges Sale

A few watches included in the Selfridges sale, pick of the bunch might be the Hamilton Intramatic for £1,450.

Other brands on offer include Longines, Bremont, Tag and IWC.

Been looking at these intra-matics. They seem good value for money. Hamilton offer some great autos for a first proper watch purchase

I have both the Black/White and the Blue, they are great watches for the money. I absolutely love their 60's vibe and they are definitely a proper watch ......

Some more reductions this morning - everything went pretty quickly - I know WIS are sniffy but there was a very tasty Montblanc Heritage GMT in there...

There were some Tags last night that were £600 or £700 cheaper than the cheapest second hand price I could find...

Yesterday morning, the Tags on sale were advertised at 50% off but when you looked at the individual page for each model, the discount was reduced to around 30% off which isn't quite the same!

I was there in person on Thurs and not much in the way of discounts on the in store brands to be seen.

They had a IWC pilot on 50% off. Just a bit too big for me

The discount was 50% when you put in basket - the individual pages for products were wrong.

Interesting, in which case several were very good value then. Good job for my bank balance I didn't put any into the basket!

I almost bought an Indy 500 carrera simply because it was so cheap (£1900) but then thought for a guy who is not into motorsports and has never owned a car it would be a weird addition to my collection...

I hope that doesn't catch on. I will have to sell all my divers and pilot watches!
