Fifty fathoms milspec I think - 40mm so not too big and I don’t think I’d tire of it.

It’s a bit of a departure but if I wanted a new watch rather than vintage, I really like the Octo. In steel, the tone-on-tone silver dial version looks great on the wrist. Not my wrist, sadly. Properly super-slim for a chronolo too.Oh, boy. Lots of great sport watch choices out there which aren't called Rolex.

That PP is certainly something special ... I think I might have gone for a Dornbluth Regulator.
I was sort of in similar boat last year and ended up buying Bulgari Octo Finissimo satin finished, you can get it BIN from grey for 7k so it is on the lower end of the price spectrum but the finish is exemplary and you get stylish thin watch rather than behemoth Offshore from AP (not that there is anything wrong with it, just alternative).
