Thread: What’s a sensible alternative to the Tudor “Soft Touch” strap for the BB58 blue?

What’s a sensible alternative to the Tudor “Soft Touch” strap for the BB58 blue?

I wonder if someone who has seen/felt/bought the “soft touch” blue strap for the Tudor BB58 blue might be able to offer some advise on a sensible alternative. It looks a like suede to me but I’m not sure if it actually is. Also, how close to the dial and bezel color is it in real like?
My AD is quoting September as a potential delivery date for the official one which seems an awfully long time to wait for a strap.

    Thanks in advance

I believe that it's not real leather, but a sustainable alternative so it's probably an alcantara style material.
Looks very nice from the photos

Out of interest how much did the AD quote?

It’s the strap which Galaxia had on a Soccertimer he sold here a while back, I had to enquire at the time what it was because I thought it looked ace

I love the idea of the BB58 MN on that new blue "soft touch" strap, but remember how quickly the straps on the 90s Dynamics went tatty.

My AD has quoted September too. £118 delivered to the store.

Seems very reasonable. Does that include the buckle at that price?

When I eventually get my hands on a BB Blue it's going straight on a blue Erika's Original. No, not the same thing, but I reckon it will look absolutely perfect.

Incidentally I bought a Rios strap for my Grand Seiko and have been incredibly impressed with it. They make a few blue straps, and suede ones:
