At the risk of going way off topic, I'd love to know what Rolex you bought. My guess is a 36mm Explorer?
PS. RIP Slow worm #1 :-(

Slow worm - tick
It was the first lawn cut since we moved in today. Been desperate to get it done for weeks but it has been so wet here there hasn't been an opportunity until today. I guess its the dampness that's the reason for all of the toads in the garden and this forum favourite.
The one in the photo was one of a pair that were quite close together - sadly I ran over the first with the flymo before I realised they were there and it is now pushing up the daisies. The blade hit its head so the end must have been instantaneous - poor thing. Interestingly it tail had detached and was wriggling about like crazy. I relocated the untouched animal to the side of the garden out of harms way.

That's not a slow worm, it's a snake.
Run...
Looks like a grass snake to me...
Used to love catching slow worms which are remarkably fast when I was a youngster
Alfa, like your work. I'll be looking for an excuse to use that joke.
Sometimes, I've had to wait many years for the perfect opportunity.
And when that doesn't happen, I crowbar it into a conversation about something else.
I do have standards. They just aren't very high.
First we had a kitten strangler. Now we have a slow worm slasher. Is nothing safe?
