I know the people that operate and maintain this car, been lucky enough to see it in the workshop it’s a marvellous thing, I’m probably biased because I just love gas turbines

How on earth did they time dozens of cars in the dark with stop watches!

Cars had license plate light mounted on the RH door, illuminating the racing number on the car. One of the reasons why the numbers are black on a white circle.
