    Watch Storage Solutions

    I'm sure there's a thread, but I can't find it.
What large capacity boxes do you guys have?

I've a Rainer Schuster 12 watch box, they go up to 18. Fantastic quality and great customer service.

I have two Walls boxes that hold about 15 watches each:

I wrap each watch in some high quality protector from Lidl:

I have just started a third box. Sourced from here the new box is slightly smaller than the first two, but has a couple of advantages. Firstly, I'm extremely lactose intolerant, so not having to consume a litre of milky ice-cream had a very positive (OK, lack of negative) effect on my digestive system. The love that I have for ice-cream is not reciprocated. Secondly, the new box came with a free portion of Singapore chow mien which really hit the spot.

Edit: The Walls logo "Discover happiness inside." on that tub is a lie. Happiness is absolutely not what my insides discover when eating Walls.

I don't like large display cases, to me, they seem a little pretentious especially when we have visitors. I just use a few watch rolls strategically placed around the house.

I don't display my display cases, but yeah, I understand why people might consider it pretentious if I did.

I need a box with large cushions to stop my watches being loose in the box so if anyone knows or uses a watch box with large cushion then let me know- my wrist size is 8” so there must be others in a similar situation.

Ask yourself if you are just making the burglar's life easier?

Some sort of case, any really, in a safe.

Sadly. they still take them even if they'd only get a tenner at Cash Converters.

I picked up a Wolf 10 watch one recently. The ‘Windsor’ model from memory. Also from memory, I think they do a 15 watch one too.

It’s a nice thing, looking good on the bedside table. Definitely not the living room, as I wouldn’t want to appear pretentious.

I have a Peli case for the good ones, and a loose box for the beaters, G shocks etc.

I use these which are small enough to fit in the safes and easy to use, since I don't need them on display. They aren't the best quality artisan made items by any means, but functional.

I use a Peli alternative fron Solent Plastics - waterproof protective grip case.

Great quality. Lots of sizes. You can configure the foam to how you want it. Use a swimming noodle cut for the width you want as a cushion.

    Will post a picture later.

Some nice solutions there guys, but maybe your idea of large capacity and mine are slightly different.
I don't really want a glass door, more of a solid one, but a 40-60 watch capacity would be great.

This is mine. Clearly doesn’t meet your large capacity requirement but it does feel like a lovely quality item. Wife got it me from Aspinal.

They might do larger ones? Just one issue with it, the cushions are quite large and being a small wrister I can’t close the clasp of any of my watches. Doesn’t bother me as the lid is shut all the time anyway. But something to think about

    Watch Storage Solutions

I bought two of these 12-watch cases from Amazon for about £15 each, and they work well.

They came with the hard cream-coloured cushions you can see in the top row below, but I find they can be a pain unless the watch strap is exactly the right size, so I bought a big bag of softer black cushions (see the bottom row below) from an eBay seller in China and changed them all over.

@ the OP. Personally I’ would avoid trying to find a single storage unit for 50-60 watches as I think it wi’ll be very big and very cumbersome. Up to you, obviously, but I would have thought a number of identical 12 to 15-watch cases would be a more manageable solution...

Cheers Simon, I understand your point but I don't have space for 20*12 watch boxes, hence looking for a few larger solutions.

It's nagging at me now, because as pointed out above, it's just making life easy for thieves...

I’ve bought a couple of watches for members of staff. I’ve picked dreyfuss. Good fit the money, usually discounted and splendid boxes which I asked if I could keep. They make very very nice boxes
