    Defakto....

Some interesting pieces, IMVHO that is.........https://www.defakto-watches.com

Thought the ambidextrous watch, the Eins, to be very novel, never seen one before.

    Defacto....

Interesting, thanks for sharing. New to me. Site says they have been around for 10 years. Very minimalistic, which is hard to get right but like the dials.

Hard to tell what they look like for real. Anyone have one by any chance?

I thought about buying one a couple of years ago. I liked the idea of a modern Bauhaus-style everyday watch.

I tried one on (the Vektor) in Stewart’s in Leicester; incidentally, nice guy, had a good chat with him at the time, no pressure to buy and knew his stock and products well.

With the watch being almost bezel-less, it wore a bit larger than expected. It felt very solid and well built despite a very slim and sleek design but somehow the minimalism left me a bit flat. Something about it felt like a ‘Swatch Max Bill’.

It may have been because I had a Junghans in the collection at the time and it didn’t differentiate itself enough from that, I may come full circle on it in time. Definitely worth considering if you were looking for something in that style.

Quite a few pictures on Instagram. Design looks good, will keep my eyes open to see them in the wild somewhere.

The Eins in titanium as per the image in the second post looks rather nice.

Part of the Ickler family, so from the Limes/Archimede stable. As such, I'd expect them to be very nicely made. I rather like the Eins and a couple of the other designs.

I have eyed these watches for a while now but never bought one. The designs are attractive and having owned a couple of Archimede watches I’m certain the quality will be excellent for the price.
May add one to the collection at some point, especially if I can source pre-owned.

Looks a bit like (albeit good quality) MVMT watches to me...
