That's a bit more like it. I mean, not for 5k obviously, but if I saw that on Kickstarter for 500 quid I'd probably buy it.

I think this is a good looking attractive watch and I could be tempted by how it looks. However it's £2k more than a Tudor BB GMT. Appreciate it's made of titanium rather than steel, but I can't get past this price difference between the two.

Who on Earth is spending that sort of money on Bremont.

Some of their designs are pretty good - but I’ve no idea who the target market is with their pricing, certainly isn’t the watch crowd

I actually quite like that. In fact I really like it and I definitely don’t want to bash Bremont.

Seriously though, £5.5k seems a bit OTT. There’s so much out there that you could buy with that sort of money.

I suspect the target audience is rich wannabe celebs or simply the rich in general, who have no real interest in watches, other than wanting to have something flashy on their wrists. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with that though. Many watch brands seem to at least partially aim for the same audience. It’s just that if it were my money, I’d be looking at a very wide range of watches. Pretty certain I’d end up with something else too, as yet again, it’s far too big for me.

Good luck to them though. The achievement it’s celebrating is certainly pretty darned special!

Bremont were the main sponsor of his project. Without bremont it would never have gone ahead.

Nothing says Mountain climbing like something that looks like a diving watch.

Well......no doubt they'll recoup their sponsorship funding when there's a queue of select individuals wearing these.
Knobber of a name though " Is that a Project Possible you're wearing there " ?

Is now a good time to suggest that Omega wanted £6.5k for their Master co-axial 300, made from the same grade (5 or 6-4) of titanium?
    No?
    Okay

    Very good looking watch.

I think it looks great. What price would the cheapest bronze Panerai go for?
It's just a matter of time...
