Im no expert by any stretch of the imagination!
I dont know if its the pics (may well be my old eyes!), it looks though as if its lived a pretty hard life...
I would imagine about £1,200 - £1,400 ish?

I was thinking the same, but I wouldn't pay that much for a tatty Monaco.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
Does look pretty worn. I'd be wanting below £1000 for that assuming its running okay , looks like it could do with a new hesalite
I owned a monaco for many years and was very happy with it. It got a lot of attention.
I think its better in the McQueen blue face version , the black is boring to me.
Try to get one with the metal bracelet as its usually the same price as the leather version but to buy separately the bracelet is more expensive.
The watch does look better on leather generally but the Tag strap is exorbitant , you can get better for less.
Think about the version with the crown at 9 o'clock and the Heuer only branding. I would be after one of these rather than the crown at 3 o'clock models .
I owned a CW2113 and whilst I enjoyed it I did lust after something closer to the original.
I'd avoid the exhibition back versions and probably prefer the hesalite over the sapphire crystal.
I'm not sure what a CW2113 goes for these days . I bought mine second hand in 2007 maybe ?
Paid about £1400 for it ; not mint but not far off it ; box and papers , leather strap was in poor condition and luckily I got a Tag one from cousins for less than £100 when they retail for about £250. I enjoyed the watch but as I became more watch savvy I started to covet something closer to the original Heuer.
Sold it 3-4 years ago years ago for maybe £1200 I think so not much loss . Two services in that time ; once to Chealwatch who sent the watch back with more problems than it left and once again to get Chealwatch's service fixed by Brendan at webwatchmaker.com who did a great job getting it back to health .
I'd personally save up a bit and get the one you'll be happiest with.
Lovely watches I think:)
Save up and buy the Calibre 11 if you can.

I’ve often wondered about the orange stitching strap..... got a pic ?
I did try to spark some Monaco interest in straps on these in the strap section but it came to nothing . It’s nice to see what options look good.

Definitely try one on before buying, they wear a bit strange because the caseback is quite deep, on a smaller wrist the watch can feel clumsy and don’t fit well. I worked on one a while back so I got chance to try it, I like the look but not the fit.
For a long time I seriously thought a Monaco would feature in my collection, I even got very close to buying one a couple of times, but the deals didn't happen and gradually the desire for one faded away to the point that, while I still like the look of it (I like the spec with the chrono and plain white on black dial), I don't think I'll ever get one now.

I looked at a 2006 Blue Monaco CW2113-0 yesterday, the guy wanted £2275 but seemed a lot too much tbh.
The same model you show was sold for £1100 on t'ebay......
The Blue Monaco was always a watch I admired,a guy at my local has one and I just thought it looked so cool, and yet Ive never got as far as buying, closest was yesterday and still dont own one!.
The 12 Calibre versions tend to sell cheaper. I think they have now been discontinued and replaced with a 2 Calibre. I would think that the condition would really dictate resale value just as much as the terrible depreciation that tag seem to suffer from. They are pretty easy to ding too so a 2006 could look rough if worn regularly

Suspect there will be a calibre 11 in my future at some point.
I think they are gorgeous. If you're going to wear a watch, wear a Monaco. I sold mine 20 years ago to buy some Georgian furniture. Although I still see it on my wrist through my Timex !
Mmmm nice... might have to find one... maybe I’ll find one with the bracelet too which I’m hunting for!

TO the OP, ouch that Tag looks like is has had a hard life- i'd say the movement has been knocked about and will need a full service. Keep that in mind for the purchase price.
I would personally never buy something that knocked about. Just think, if it looks like that on the outside what will it be like on the inside!
I helped a friend buy a new McQueen Calibre 11 from an Italian dealer via Chrono24 recently - he absolutely loves it.

What did you get?

Each to their own eh. Maybe Metal Micky was designed around this watch !!! Good job they didn’t design him around a Panerai or Rolex otherwise he’d look like a giant teapot or the tin man from the Wizard of Oz.

Great iconic design. Unfortunately, I agree with Paul...they wear very large and I had to sell mine on a few years ago just because it was too big for me.
