One has 7 years, another 15. Point is, both are the most comfortable thing for Speedy Tuesday in Autumn

Shows the versatility being able to have different straps rather than just the std metal!

Agreed, but I kinda dig it on the OEM metal in the last few weeks. Don't understand why, and I even don't prefer the look after I've seen the 1711 bracelets from Fostner bands and Uncle Seiko. Might just give them a try. Until then

    Snack time

Amazing photos. Such a versatile watch. I really need to think about adding one before the possible discontinuation of this model.

It can be sooner than later, cal 3861 with ceramic bezel insert is just around a corner. And it will be a logical upgrade

Stunning, stunning pictures. I'm quite an active music photographer in my spare time (not this year, obviously ), but I can't get the hang of photographing watches. It's great to see a genuinely different style as well.

Stunning. Do these pictures involve processing of raw files, or just about shooting with right lighting and cropping to interested areas of photos?

    Thank you
Yes, I only shoot in RAW and I don't normally crop pictures, I tend to scaled them 'as is'. Shooting RAW and editing in Lightroom requires a little more time, but the end result is much more pleasing to the eye.

Crikey! Unbelievably good pics. Really superb. Thank you for sharing these and for inspiring me to get 'new shoes' for my Speedy. You have shown that a Speedy could be the perfect 'one watch'.

BTW I believe these pics to be the finest I've seen of the Speedy. Ok maybe the pic of Buzz Aldrin wearing his on the moon had more significance but your pics really highlight what a beautiful watch this is and your composition is wonderful.

Also a great advert speedmasters full stop. I’ve never really been interested in buying one, but scrolling through the photos in here is genuinely making me want one! If he isn’t already, the OP should be working for omega PR

Tnx, and yeah, Speedy is probably the most versatile watch I've had so far. The only think I haven't tried it on is rubber (and won't) and BUND strap. I'm thinking someting like GGB. We'll see

Thank you gentleman, appreciate your comments. Unfortunately I don't have any affiliation with Omega or any watch brand. Not that I wouldn't mind...

I'm unsure how I overlooked this thread but I am glad I came across it. I wish I had the level of talent required to take such fantastic photos, they are superb.

I really like this strap - can you tell me where you purchased it?

That strap is my own branded SPS (Single Piece Strap) Desert Khaki color. I do sell them but I believe that one in 20mm sold out preety quickly. But I'll check to be sure

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a strap that the speedie pro can’t pull off.

Currently got mine on a Milanese bracelet.

Lovely photos, my speedy was my first proper watch, at the time the only watch I was aware of the history surrounding it. I bought it when I was sure my business was succeeding, so it has real sentimental value and will never be sold.

  49. #99
    Absolutely beautiful.

I would love to see the new speedmaster photographed by you also. Maybe not too long to wait...
