Is this a multifunction quartz with backlight LCD? Something of a Breitling Aerospace?

Work started on this in 2007 but there were problems which would be difficult to overcome although I can't remember what the problems were now. I'll enquire whether it can now be made.

Sweet. Looking forward to this. I hope movement availability wouldn't be an issue, is there any other manufacturer making such movements other than ETA?

Is the drawing final?, I'd love screw-down pushers on this one.

I'd hate screw down pushers on it, ignore what Richard says.

I'd forgotten it too, despite getting excited when I first saw it (was it really 13 years ago?!).

I'd love it if it comes to fruition.

    ETA E20.231?

With the ETA E20.231? Is that still available? What other ana digi movements are available these days? Is it possible to get something closer to the current x33?

There isn't currently an ana-digi movement in the ETA catalogue but Orient has a nice one.

Orient did an interesting Ana - digi a few years ago, quite sought after second hand I believe.

I wonder if that explains why Omega appear to have quietly dropped the X-33.

I had that Orient, a lovely watch and very accurate as I recall (no link between ana and digi). However it really bugged me that the lcd had no backlight and that was why I sold it. A major failing IMO.

How about the Miyota t241, as was used in the Boccia Tutima Bund?

Back in the day it was suggested to perhaps use these hands instead of the skeleton ones. What do the people think?

Imho, those aspects defeat the purpose of an ana-digi watch. :-(

And it looks like the Miyota t241 doesn't have a light either.

But I would have to get 300 watches made, that's the minimum.

I think the Skelton work better on this watch - as it enables the digital; display to be read more

Yeah - but if he's got 137 on sale on E-bay he might have a source for some more? Just a thought 🙂

Alpine do a Analogue-Digital watch - I wonder if it would be possible to get hold of whatever movements they use? 🤔

Looks like some sort of smart watch with a battery life of only 7 days befire it needs charging.

Perhaps a more tachymeter style bezel would be more appropriate functional,

Having looked at it again - I think you're right and its proportionate to the Baby Dreadnought. (Hence I think you meant to say Lug to Lug is 45mm and not 40mm which as Number 2 is suggesting - is probably case diameter?)

In respect of the tachymeter scale on the bezel - IMHO this is a dive watch infer the 'Dreadnought' family - and hence it should be left as per your current design - which is a classic 🙂

I think the hand shape and bezel style are Dreadnought DNA, and not to be changed.
I do think skeletons will make the digi readable, that minute hand could obscure a lot if it retains solid lume.
My google fu has failed me, can someone link us the spec for the Miyota T720 movement, so I can see what the spec is, in terms of function.
    Thanks
