    I love SD's!!
    Is it my imagination or is the date window larger on the 16660 than the 116600?

    I find my sub more comfortable due to its flatter back/slimmer profile compared to my 16660.

    I don't have 16600 measurements but I have 14060 no-date Sub specs.

    I explained how these all three (14060, 16610 and 16600) wear on a larger wrist (mine is about 7.5 inches) in this article:
    https://luxurywatches635.wordpress.c...-rolex-to-get/

    I love them all but 16610 is my favorite one to wear. Cheers!

    16600 and SDc wear fine on 7 inch wrists
    I have both of these and very wary of wearing larger sized watches but you would be fine with these.
    Agreed though regards 4 and 5 digit subs where they fit really nicely on the wrist.

    Looks like it. I'd have to dig them out to check... 16660 has the lovely open 6 too.

    I had the original deep sea, found it too big..so i traded for a 16600 which i liked a lot..but got the chance to own a 116600, so traded the 16600 in. Then traded that back for a 16600. So I would get the 16600.

    116600 is a dream. See my post from a couple of weeks ago. It’s case dimensions are superb, its very short production run makes it rare and desirable, the lack of cyclops is cool and it wears extremely well on smaller wrists (actually better than the super-case sub). I can’t say enough good things about this watch!

    Thanks, I wear a 6159-7000 (Seiko) as my daily beater with no problem and looking at the SD it is in general slightly smaller, 16600 looking like the one, now I wonder if the SD will perform as well as the 6159 ?

    The 6159 wore all day and rested crown up at night loses less than 1spd and if rested crown down gains less than 1spd so over a month it is correct to within a couple of seconds.

    Thickness= 14.10mm

    Width= 44.00mm

    Length= 50.00mm

    No it won't, so forget all about the SD.

    Thanks but not so easy to forget once the seed has been planted and at my time of life its seldom I really need the 6159 accuracy even though its nice.

    Its a shame the watch fairs are not open yet I could of perhaps tried various models.

    Again thanks.
    Please, take me up on my offer of the 16600!
    Try it for a month.
    It’s only a watch..
    I can’t remember where you live, but if it makes you feel better, if we can meet up, I’ll try out your 6159 for a bit 👍
    Cheers..
