    “Vodafone” redirect from forum

Anyone else getting redirected to some scam “Vodafone” site when browsing the forum on their desktop/laptop?

Not happening when I browse with Tapatalk but it is on my MacBook/Safari. Wasn’t happening last night...

    Nope.

If it's a scam site, my bet is on malware.

You could try and install another browser on the same Mac to see if it's restricted to Safari or system-wide.

Very weird. Seems to have stopped happening now. It was only on TZ that the redirect was happening, I had Chrono24 in another tab with no issues.

Redirects from here aren't unusual for me on Android/chrome.

If one sends you to a dodgy site it's probably an exploited ad

This...they tend to happen on ad heavy websites. I've had redirects happen from here before. From what I understand the ad gets infected with a script that looks at the browser’s metadata to target a particular browser. This is why not everyone sees it. It will also use the IP address to work out if you are a sky/vodafone/EE/BT customer so that they can personalise the 'survey' or 'competition' advert it to sucker people in.

Go to settings and delete website data. Reload your device and try again.

I'm always shocked when I use a device at someone else's homes and see what the internet is like if you don't run scripts and stuff like Pi-hole.
