    Bronze will do that.

You could coat the back of your watch in clear nail varnish to prevent green wrist if a bund doesn't suit.

Funny, the 6105 bronze one I have doesn't do that. Still hasn't tarnished much either actually.

Pretty impressed - excellent quality and superb time-keeping.
Sapphire crystal and lumed ceramic bezel - what's not to like.
Put it on a nice rubber but actually the supplied bracelet was also pretty good with solid end-links.
    £99 well spent.

I got one the same a few days ago. Matthew was very pleasant to deal with.

Will it last & be reliable, I dunno, but so far it's keeping to +1.5 spd & i'm still slightly shocked at how good it actually is. The fit & finish certainly appear excellent.

Seiko NH35 work horse and solid steel watch. Should last just as good as any other?

Yes indeed all I really meant was for the money, you start thinking about quality control & how well it's put together etc - long term.
Got to say though, certainly appearance & timekeeping wise, so far i'm very impressed.

Mines on its way back to Matthew due to misaligned chapter ring. He's sending out a replacement though, so far so good with the after sales service.

After 4 months of daily wearing mine is running at a steady +1½ to 2 secs/d also. Changed the strap from the rubber to a Gecko Cordura and the watch is really hard to fault.

It’s a beast! The head is heavy and the quality is incredible for the money. Crown and bezel action are very good and everything lines up as it should. Initial thoughts of the bracelet are that I’m not blown away by it. The quality is better than I was expecting but I’m not keen on the oversized links. All in all it’s a stunner.

Got this through the post today

First impressions is good put it on strap I had as the leather one it came on felt hard, but the rubber strap included also seems lovely and soft but thought it try it on this first.

Looking forward to getting the replacement, others on here look great but I couldn't live with how far out the chapter ring was on mine. Matthew has been great though so far👍

Thanks Julian, much appreciated. Glad you like it and I'm leaning towards steel, so even better!!

    2) The faux aged lume is a bit artificial looking.

Other than that I'm really happy with it. If you are looking at the steel cased version neither of these is an issue, so if you like the style rather than the newer sapphire bezel style then I'd heartily recommend one. If you prefer the Sapphire bezel then there are some nice homages from various other manufacturers (Spinnaker, Reef Tiger, etc.) have no idea as to quality of these although the spinnaker I have (a Hull California dial) is nicely made (for the price).

    obligatory picture...

Not bad lume, but It doesn’t seem to last long at all, whether just not had enough exposure yet

Quite heavy but suppose that’s the bronze
Early days but not 100% sure on it yet. Il give it a few days before deciding if it will appear on SC

I've never looked a these before now, but after seeing this thread i took a look at their site. The bronze PAM sub would allow me to scratch a couple of itches in one go. The photoson the site make the finishing look rough! Anyone tried one?

Looks great on that strap! Considering one for the bronze 6105 I have. Did you change the buckle to a bronze one? Would love to find a gold tone one to match.

Looks great on that strap. Must admit I'm not much of a bracelet on a diver fan.

Really cannot fault my Emperor Tuna homage Steeldive SD1978.

Very good lume, I just wish they had matched the colour better of the bezel with the face. But only notices when lit up. Triggers my OCD a little.

Put mine up for sale in SC if anyone wants it

    Just bronze/gold isn’t for me

Love the dial and wish they did this in steel case with this dial and bezel

Yeah always wanted to try a bronze watch as love the look of them .

But I’ve never like/had yellow gold jewellery as don’t like it on me.

So thought take a punt on this as fairly cheap and confirms deffo still not for me and to stick to silver or black cased watches

A shame - I had attachment issues with it as well at the start but have come round to it's charms - most of the watches I don;t immediately gel with have benefited from a strap change.

Did you see the 2 other versions of the steel bodied ff on steeldives uk site? I quite like the look of the one with the humidity marker on it which seems to have the vintage lume colour too.

Yeah it’s the bronze deffo not for me

Anyone can set this to whatever they want. It's much better to click on the post number for the direct link, and post that. Or use "quote" which automatically adds a link back to the original post. Not sure if either of them work the same in the app though.

I’ve decided to keep the Sumo as it’s far too nice to sell:

Good choice, the SD Sumo is a cracking watch. In fact I've just ordered the SD Mm300 too

Bought as a test to see if the proper mm300 would be too much for me.

Don't think it will so now I need to decide between the mm300, superocean 42 or the black bay steel.

This is very nice in its own right though

I've worn this every day since I got it and it's returning +4spd consistently. It's just an all-round outstanding watch.
