Not I. Ignoring the price though, it's very nice.

Seriously? Who would drop nearly 5K on this?

I can spend 4800 better elsewere
I really like these (disclaimer, I’ve owned two big bangs in the past and still think they’re a stunning watch despite their detractors) but at $5200/$5800 I’d be expecting a little more than one day battery life as quoted in the hodinkee article.
What technology is used, is it the same as the connect? I’m not interested but if I wanted a smart watch it surely has to be Apple.
My mate is a Hublot nutter and bought the watch used by referees in the last World Cup. Eyewateringly expensive but ironically cheapest way to get a Hublot !
Not for me, but TBH not a big Hublot fan anyway.

The new Big Bang e runs on Google's Wear OS, which means that users can utilize a host of apps found in the Google Play Store as well as the Google Pay and the Google Assistant features. Whereas the Big Bang Referee ran on an Intel processor, this one has the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 at its core, the same processor used to power the most recent TAG Heuer Connected 45mm.
That is some lame-ass processor for a £5000 watch - completely outgunned at every measure by the apple watch.
I'm not into smart-watches at all but if you are spending £5000 on a smart-watch, you want it to represent the cutting edge.
The problem for the swiss is that unlike "Swiss made" - here they have no expertise or infrastructure to make processors - they are reduced to buying these terrible processors from Qualcomm that are designed to fit in a whole range of scenarios for 100s of companies. Apple has the advantage that it builds everything from the ground up to work together and the experience is always going to be better and the processors are always going to be better...
I quite like that, but the price is over the top. Also atthe end of the day it's just another gadget that will fail and sit in a drawer. Paying 5k for it is silly.
Watch looks OK, but Wear OS is a terrible software for smartwatches. It is also not very useful for fitness tracking. And the hardware, well the CPU inside is the same as in cheap Wear OS watches from Fossil group.
To me dropping so much money in tech which will be obsolete in 2 years is not the smartest thing to do.
Disclaimer: I bought a Huawei Watch GT2 two months ago and haven't taken it off. But battery lasts 10 days with all sensors and I found it very useful. But I paid £129 for it.
