6.75-7 inch wrist.
During COVID lockdown i've been thinking about acquiring an old 36mm datejust and I've found what looks like a nice 16220 for sale.
Unfortunately it's some distance away, so reluctant to make the trip to view until I'm reasonably sure that it's not going to be too small.
Can you show me your 36mm DJ's please and if possible let me know your wristsize.
I have a flat wrist approx 60 mm across. Does anybody know the lug to lug size of a 16220?
Thanks for any help.

6.75-7 inch wrist.
I have seen dozens of men with a 36mm DJ on their wrists and unless you are doing a direct side by side comparison, they hardly look any different from the larger models. I would also say the 36mm models are better proportioned but that is just my opinion.
16200 with a 7” wrist.
Lug to lug is approximately 44mm, with a dial/crystal size of 30mm. Dial/crystal is a similar size to most of the 40mm case 5 digit models.
Bad shots, sorry. Datejust 6305, roulette and wg bezel.

Date just are real classics. I bought my dream one in late 2018 from the forum... for some reason they aren’t that popular on SC, which I find surprising. It is a good watch for £3k considering people send 3 times that on a sub.
The size at first was surprising as my daily was a sub ceramic but you get used to it, understated. I will probably keep it until I can upgrade to a day date, likely in white gold.

My 1967 DJ 1601 given to me by my father last serviced in 2002 worn almost every day and still keeping perfectly acceptable time..
I wear 34mm-44mm and everything in between on my 7 3/4 wrist.
Classic simplicity for every occasion
Don’t get hung up on specific sizes all watches wear very different..

Everyone seems to be chasing the 40mm DJs, so I would guess there has got to be some bargains in the 36mm models.
Thanks for the photos gents.
I'd been considering a watch with silver dial and stick markers, but I'm really liking the white dial with Roman numerals.
My first Rolex was a TT DJ with fluted bezel, on jubilee, white dial with Romans. 36mm and I loved it. Traded against a Cartier roadster chrono. I would love to get another in the future, but would have to be same spec, and I fear that it would feel small now after years of big diver's and 47mm PAMs.

Can’t beat a datejust, great value!

Blue & White always works well together I find.
Have never even considered a watch this size as I have always had larger watches. Some of these look great, will be having a look around the used market.

Bit of a cheat but also chunkier than the standard which I prefer.
My birth year 16014. An interesting textured dial which reflects the light nicely. My wrist is a flat ish 6.75'
