Stretching the brand. Might work out will just have to wait and see if the styles work. I would need to see them worn to get a better impression.

Something to coordinate with your favourite Omega timepiece!😀
The launch of a range of eyewear, taking design clues from the Omega catalogue.

Not a fan. They’re very expensive, and will fall out of fashion much quicker than the watches.

not a fan and at £700 for a pair of aviators i will pass
Not a very strong collection design-wise is it?
The bezel inspired specs look absolutely dreadful to me...
...lm sure a few blinkered fans will force themselves to like them.
And people with money burning holes in their pockets.
As the saying goes "there's one born every minute".
Im not impressed at all, thought they were a bit ordinary, until I clocked the price!
It’s a big NO from me.
Well, if it’s good enough for Tag Heuer...
Missed a trick here.
They should have gone for a 007 theme.
The two zeros could be the frame with a tasteful 7 jutting out from the wearer's face.
This is like buying a Mercedes wallet to go with your Mercedes car...tasteless

That’s the way to dilute the brand and loose any credibility in the hardcore Watchworld..

If only they were Limited Editions...
In fact...I suspect they will be.
I suspect they will end up like the £400+ Aston Martin sunglasses that were all over tkmaxx a few months ago at 10-20% of the retail price. They were pretty sad also.

I bought a pair from an Omega boutique last year and they are fantastic. Great lenses, good quality and a bit different.
They weren’t as expensive as those on that list though.
Also had a pair of Tag Heuers, bought after a few beers at Goodwood Festival of Speed. First time I’d spent over £100 on a pair of shades and the difference was stand-out.
Superb for driving.
Gutted when I lost them at a local classic car meet and whoever found them must have liked them too....

Omega Eyewear... Omega Eyesore more like.
Omega watches in my opinion are quite understated and classic (such as the Speedmaster). These sunglasses are a complete contrast. The designers must have said no we are not doing understated or classic, that is era is dead. We are going for new and bold.
These will all be sold soon enough (and available from TK Maxx at at 90% off).

But when someone says to you "Rayban?" you can say "Omega" in reply
I guarantee you that these are either Luxottica or a smaller player like De Rigo or Marcolin. And yeah, I agree that these type of licensed products ultimately devalue a brand.

Jim.
I can't say I like the styles much, but I'm wearing Mercedes Benz framed glasses at the moment, so it doesn't worry me greatly.
I didn't realise they were MB frames until I'd tried them on, though - If anything the branding would have dissuaded me, but I like the frames and it's not particularly overt, so it doesn't bother me.
