I really like that, suits your wrist sizewise.
Earlier this week I took a punt on a diver I’ve admired for a long time; the Seiko 7C43-6010. This is the 36mm quartz, 200m model that pre-dates the SKX013.
This particular watch benefits from a recent visit to our favourite Seiko man Duncan for a battery change, crown seal and 10 bar test so a good-to-go quartz it certainly is.
Having owned a 013 and thought it too small, I was concerned about this one. However the vintage nature of it, the bold white hands, Seiko only branding (no ‘Automatic’) and the metal applied indices make this a whole different proposition.
I think it’s a touch of retro class, especially on the retro jubilee.
So you see, she was wrong, smaller can be better.

Definitely a touch of class, compact vintage class. Prefer the nato though.

Looks great!
I love 36mm divers. Finding well proportioned ones though, tricky. Let me rephrase. Finding 36mm divers is tricky. Would love to get a look at one of the 36mm bond SMPs
36mm is fine for me for dress watches, field watches, anything without a substantial bezel basically.
Dive watches I prefer 39mm plus.
This is slightly too dainty for my liking but nice to see something different.
It looks good David
I had an SKX013 at one time. The size was fine but I didn't like the ratio of case height to width, it felt too tall for its size and somewhat out of proportion. The height was virtually the same as the bigger SKX007.
I've got a 36mm Seamaster, and it's the same situation, but I like it - the case has a squat chunkyness that gives it a bit of presence despite the small size.
I agree Ian, the 013 is too tall. It's interesting how tastes change. When I first joined here I bought a massive Benarus diver with blue dial and a bracelet you could lock your bike up with. I never thought I'd enjoy a 36mm dive watch but there's something about this one that feels very classy and understated. Actually 36 - 40mm is my sweet spot for a watch now and future purchases will be the PRS-29a and the 36mm Everest.
I also bought the SKX013, but returned it. Super watch, but again, just seemed that the diameter / thickness ratio wasn’t quite right.
Here it is next to a PRS-29A for reference...

It’s very nice on the jubilee OP, looks classy. Smaller pieces always look elegant. Lovely watch.
