    anyone know what these bugs are

    Hi my niece asked me what these were and i couldn't help, so anyone any ideas they appear on the window cill first thing in the morning.

    Difficult to get an idea of size from the photo but I think the one on the left is possibly an adult woodworm, i.e. common furniture beetle (Anobium punctatum). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_furniture_beetle.

    Don't know about the thing on the right.

    No disrespect meant but photo is not great.

    Looks like some sort of leaf beetle, possibly Zygogramma or another Chrysomelinae

    That size range would concur (for the one on the left) with adult woodworm. See the pics I linked to on Wikipedia.

    The one on the right of the original photo is definitely a carpet beetle. Find out where they’re coming from and get rid of them quickly as they live to eat your carpets and clothes.

    My driver picked this up the other day and put it in his pocket!
    No idea if he was keeping it to feed a pet, or to eat it himself...
