    CWC SBS Guidance request

Not a frequenter of these parts but been after a SBS for a while but know little about the variants.
This ones popped up on Ebay and just wondered if alls ok or any thoughts on it?
Was considering making an offer just below the asking.

Looks to be in good condition
It’s not issued so the price is high.
That said it looks almost NOS.
There is a brand new one on there at £650
It will have an L dial but it will be more practical for day to day use.
That said a 08 T dial will still glow at night.

I would not pay that price for a non issued piece and no strap.

    Quite right

You can buy a new one direct from Silvermans for 100 pounds less!

And if you ask them nicely they will send it one of the classic CWC tins as opposed to those horrible new cardboard jewellery boxes

Seller doesn't have a very good feedback rating either!

The £20 Economy Postage alone should be enough to say walk away.

I thought the seller had dodgy feedback as well but he was unlucky in that someone left positive feedback under a negative header, leaving him with a shoddy 66.7% positive rating.

    Thanks for the replies.
Its relisted now at £900 so definately not for me.
I might just buckle and buy new.
Any major pointers to watch out for? standard version or 87 reissue?

Be patient & wait for one to come up on the forum would be your best bet.
