Not sure who dick is or BGT Jim but Manchester is North West.
Worse programme on TV anyway, I’m sure a programme with people painting fences and watching them dry would be better.
Theres only so much you can take of the sickly, oh look I’m crying and looking oh so sincere down the camera Holden, totally shocked and amazed Cowel when he’s clearly in on every bloody act anyway. Not to mention the the audience members who just so happen to be filmed at that precise moment of a jaw droopingly shocking act. I mean didn’t you see the person change places with someone else, you know magic doesn’t exist right....T**TS!!
From where I live 'that London' is 'up north'
It’s all relative. Manchester’s 3 hours drive north for me. That’s pretty northern in my book.
Cheers

I live in Devon, Bristol is north for me
As for the tv programme fortunately I don't watch it!!!!

Well the clue is in the region. North West.
Strange that you find the comment annoying. Manchester is in the North East and Ant and Dec are based in London so seems fair enough
I may be alone here, but whilst Ant and Dec were once a breath of fresh air, they are now jaded and it shows. They are well pst their sell by date. They must have made a fortune, so why not call time, relax and enjoy life.
Someone I know on the Isle of Wight calls the British mainland "The North Island". All relative I suppose .

Anything north of the Thames (north London, for example) is in the north, and anything south (south London, for example) is in the south. Manchester is in the far north, while Carlisle is in the Arctic Wastes. HTH.
"A man of little significance"
If you live in Marseille it’s even norther
The punctuation is more irritating than Ant & Dick.
PS I live on the South Coast so everything is "Oop North"
I was led to believe that anywhere North of the Watford Gap service stations was “up North”
To me most of you are southern softies.
As I understand it we are going through a process of reversal of the magnetic poles, soon you will all be up South.
Ay lad, Manchester is North and proud of it.
The middle of the UK is in Morecambe Bay.
Manchester is probably midlands.
I was born (and lived for 40 years) in Bournemouth. Birmingham was "way up north" when I was small.
Now I live in Peterborough, which is further north than Birmingham, and north is now Leeds or Newcastle.
I couldn't comprehend ever travelling as far north as Leeds when I was little... now it's under 2 hours in the car, which is less time than I spend commuting to work each day (or was, pre 23/03/20).
There is no north and south . I'm from Suffolk so everyone else is a westerner.
