Except the number ‘4’ lol. I own one and have grown to appreciate its charm.

That is great news Eddie. Kind of like finding that last piece of the puzzle. Will be looking forward to the final price and release for sale in the store.

It will be a great watch, I have no doubt of that, just not to my taste.

I love it because it confirms my conviction that the current iteration of the PRS-29 military is the only hand-wind three hand watch I want at any price.
I too am not a fan of the polished bezel but as the Mk XI seemed to have one I guess it's part of the package.

From the prototype photos it doesn't seem to be as obvious on the cream dial which could well persuade me to go for that. It would also sit well with my PRS29-AM

Another TZ absentee being drawn back in by this watch. I expect to have my gambling fingers on come launch day!

One question. What is the significance of a “box” sapphire crystal vs a normal sapphire crystal?

Reason I ask is that I much prefer acrylic as a rule, and will have to overcome this before I (try to) buy this otherwise perfect looking watch.

    Thanks.

PS FWIW I also would prefer an unsigned crown. And I like boobies

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".

Nice, I like eccentric screw regulator (it probably has a fancy French name).

Is that picture in Sheffield or did they go straight to the mfr?

To answer my own question - it sounds like it's basically what we used to call a domed crystal. Simply a sapphire crystal shaped to mimic 'vintage' acrylic crystals.
