    Recommend me a canvas strap

I've posted a WTB but thought a wider audience might be able to help.

I'm after a canvas strap for this:

I've become unexpectably smitten with it, and while the stock rubber strap is great, I think a good canvas strap will work well.

It's 22mm at the lugs and I'd like to use the EB buckle at 20mm, but it isn't essential. I would like it to have wider tang holes for a more Panerai style buckle.

I was hoping for a dark khaki/olive colour but open to ideas.

It's a pretty chunky watch at 14mm so the strap needs to be robust.

I've done the usual searches and nothing quite matches the brief. The closest was the Steveo Straps para Canvas:

    Any further suggestions welcome

What about a Haveston canvas one piece? https://www.haveston.com/corp-canvas...-20mm_polished

Edit- they also do a lighter green too

No idea, your best bet is to trawl their IG account and find where it was originally posted....

I have just received this French ammo pouch canvas from Micah straps. It is an unfinished edge so will patinate and wear nicely, by this leather backed so super comfy. Not cheap but a great strap IMHO.

I really liked the leather-backed canvas that Steinhart put on the Ocean 1 bronze, that should be available from their website.

Take a look at Red Rock Straps on Etsy. Dan, the owner, is a great guy and will work with you to customize for your needs. They aren’t cheap, but they are excellent. I have three of them and love them all. Here’s one of them on my Planet Ocean.

Thanks for the ideas so far.

The Haveston I have already – makes the watch sit too high and silver hardwear on a PVD watch is a no no. Great strap though.

Micah are how much? No Elliot Brown watch is worth a £150 strap. And once VAT and handling fee is taken into account that's going to be £180+. Gulp! Again, they do look good though.

Red Rock I've already been browsing on Etsy and they come very close but I'd have to be sure before parting with £80. Good call though.

Steinhart is a left field shout so I'm off to take a look now. I hadn't thought about looking for a differrent watch manufactuer's straps. Thanks.

Haveston straps are great but I have one of Pavs on this and I think it would fit the bill

In fact I messaged him today to get another slightly longer one.

Not strictly canvas, but Hadley Roma Cordura straps are good.

    Recommend me a canvas strap

Spent ages looking for green canvas. Wanted a thin strap (or at least not thick for panerai) without the worn look but preferably not too shiny.

Ended up with this from AliExpress for EUR 8.

My favorite one is a Hamilton stock strap but quite expensive.

Some more examples in my post here
