Rolex SS black sub date. Done
For me, I reached full satisfaction with the PRS83.
I also stopped browsing the forum.

Eh, probably it was all their fault.

Rolex SS black sub date. Done
I reached full satisfaction with a Black Bay. Then I bought a Radiomir, 3 G Shocks, a Meistersinger and a Breitling. And a Hamilton. And a Christopher Ward. And a Steinhart. And then I realised there's no such thing as full satisfaction and I'll be tinkering with it until the day I get fed up and then I'll sell them all except two or three.
Contentment is on a par with seeing a SS Ceramic Daytona in a shop window at list price - I have yet to discover either.
Thought it was a Tudor Pelagos but just couldn’t get on with it at all, in the end the Seiko Shogun I already had forced it out with most of a very small collection.
Black Sub with date and Batman for me
Thanks

I guess it's all subjective as the attraction of the Daytona is a mystery to me. I guess if you want a Rolex and a Chrono your choices are limited. Not sure ill stop looking but the SDc is my end game.
My 1968 (Transitional) Speedmaster put a bit of a stop(ish) to me collecting Moonwatches in significant numbers. It is currently the only Moonwatch (other than my Snoopy) but is still only one of approx 50 watches overall.
I’m not sure there will ever be a watch to stop my addiction. Perhaps a Royal Oak “Jumbo” but if I were lucky enough to get one at retail, something else will go on the list. If I had to have one watch only it would be the ceramic no-date sub. It’s so versatile.

Haven't found it yet and doubt I will. A lot of the fun in this hobby is in the wanting, researching and finding/buying, not just the owning or wearing. Give me a platinum Daytona or a double red SeaDweller and that still wouldn't be the end of it for me.
I don't think the unicorn exists. Ive had a few of them thinking it would be the end of collecting, but it never is, and bizarrely its the unicorn type watches that have left my collection rather than any of the others.
never found it, contentment for enthusiasts of most hobbies generally never finds it, why? because something else peaks your interest eventually. I find contentment is a moment in time and doesn't usually last that long. Only budget & timing ever stops the enthusiast
Similar experience, acquired a 1016 Explorer which I thought I’d only ever be able to dream of. Peak satisfaction, no more need to logon here and browse around. A good few years very satisfied
Then one day re-opened the website and I’m a Nomos and a BB58 ‘worse off’ since then!
To be honest I have found the Black Bay 58 is just a great piece. With all my other watches I have to think what it goes with - not in a weird way but for example my old Lemania chronograph is PVD on an olive nato so I would t wear that in some situations. Same goes for other stuff I own, but to a lesser extent my legend diver which is very flexible.
The Tudor thiugh goes with anything, it’s super accurate, neat size and very ‘quiet’ in my 7.5” wrist and it skips under a jumper, jacket, shirt or whatever so I forget it’s even there.
I read all the reviews saying it’s the perfect ‘one watch’ and kind of rolled my eyes but since getting it I actually could sell my other five and feel ok about having just this one. I mean I won’t, but I technically could.
I definitely haven’t found given I sell them all.

Still looking for it!
In 2008 I bought a 2254 which gave me full satisfaction. Purely by accident, I bought and sold about 200 watches since.
