Reported- Out of interest, I wonder how many times an item has to be reported as counterfeit before flea bay starts to act.
I’m not great at these things but a thread on WUS highlights this as a fake. Thought I’d post here too in case it is and someone was thinking about bidding.

Prob worth reporting to eBay if it is a replica/fake.

Link to thread? Would like to see the “tells”. Seems high quality.
If that’s a fake, it’s an amazingly good one. Have you got a link to the thread?
Cheers,

I've noticed over the years that Planet Ocean is a highly faked watch that always seems to cause trouble because of the quality of the fakes duping people.
Obvious fake by the way. You only have to google the serial number 88998668 to see countless "replica" POs with the same serial number.
Here is the link
Very well made replica omega on ebay from seller “shasai_27”

There are 3 different dates on the pictures too which Imsee as odd. Surely if your selling something you’d take the pics on the same day?

Huh? Isn't the biggest tell to google the serial number that brings up countless replicas with the same serial number?
The dial is very noticeable too. Compare the 6 of a real one against this.
At first glance the movement looks decent, if you weren’t in the know it would be easy to be fooled.
Anybody notice the blu tack on the spare link...
Is the offer of face to face a ruse to prevent a paypal claim in the future?
Anyone got a sacrificial eBay account to bid it up on ? 😂

They've taken a lot of time to fake the Movement, it looks pretty real to me.
Idly searching to reputable eBay dealers, it appears the He valve lines up with 10...are they using replica photos?

Here are some official AD photos, which look similar:

I'd reported the item to eBay and asked the seller if they knew it was fake watch, to which he replied "Say hello to the bailiff boy from me bro" whatever that's supposed to mean...
Ah...ok, so we've got people calling this out as a fake based on incorrect tells.
Hi
Just signed up, I had the misfortune of almost buying this, I’ll be honest I was buying it as an upgrade for my 2004 Seamaster as I wanted a daily driver over my other stuff.
What I found interesting is it also had a cash converters receipt with the serial number on it. If I had my cynical head on I’d say people are selling these to CC then buying back to get a ‘receipt’ with the serial number on it, I’m guessing CC won’t be able to fully check them and whatever the scammers lose in selling and buying back is all part of overheads of selling these.
It’s a real shame as I’ve been heavily into Rolex / AP / Patek over the last few years and I’m pretty well versed in the fakes there and what to look. However this it really puts me off Omega all together now, they depreciate like stones if you buy new and it seems the seconds market is so well flooded with fakes you’ll just spend your cash elsewhere.
I also think:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402272103873 May be fake due to the quality of the listing, the guy couldn’t find me the serial number and wouldn’t send me a pic of the shoulder with the serial on it, also wanted cash in collection despite a few offers of bank xfer.
Stay safe out there folks
No problem. Yes, the serial number is a dead giveaway.Ah, thanks. Hadn't thought of that. Seems like a much better way of telling this is a fake.
Is it common to see movements faked as well as that? I would have taken one look at that and assumed it was fine so I'm spooked a bit by it.
Ah that would make sense. Scary stuff.
This post is from October last year. Not suggesting it’s the same watch but some of the ‘tells’ may be the same. Although as has been said, the serial no. seems to be well used.
Also a google of the serial no. brings this up (along with fake omegas sharing same serial). Did someone mention a cash converters receipt? It’s the same serial no. on the warranty card. Can’t go and check the actual cash converters description as the website is down until 15th June.

Couple of messages exchanged with the seller now, he says it's real because when he bought a strap from the boutique they fitted it for him and that's a good a guarantee as you will ever get. I'd love to know what happens to items which have been reported as fake, it must open a ticket somewhere, but eBay just do nothing.
Listing ended ?
Hope no one’s been had
If we're talking about this one, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-Sea...-/224018074978, then for me it shows "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."
In other words, it seems likely that the seller pulled it because of the hassle. Most likely eBay didn't do anything.
