I was just about to start a thread to ask this exact same question (almost), but in relation to clasps. I've got a Eulit perlon, with a shiny clasp, on a bead-blasted titanium watch, which looks a bit silly. Eulit clasps are all polished steel.
Is there a way, without specialist equipment, to get a close approximation of a bead blasted finish? Or is it remotely economical to send it to someone to get it done properly?
A jewellery tumbler with some appropriate media can get something similar in finish. But they aren't cheap to buy for a job that small.
There will be somebody who knows somebody with a media blaster. I lost the contacts I had, sorry.

You could go for different levels of sandpaper attached to something small like a dremel or stick I guess. Would take a while and require a keen eye and hand !
Yeah. It’s a pretty fine job. I haven’t tried it but would agree with you. Would be hard to pull off and nowhere near the results of sandblasting. There is just simply too many curves and edges.
I still have fine and coarse beadblasting cabinet set up.
Sand blasting technically is ILLEGAL due to its silica content, have to use silica free blast media.
