Google-free (Zoom or similar) Quiz Formats

Sunday evening extended family Zoom quiz...
I have reason to believe that some participants have been on their phone. Shocking, I know!
It's looking like it's my turn to run it next week and I would like to foil the Googlers if possible.
Can anyone suggest a format that neutralises Google searching? If there's any ready-made content you can point me at, all the better.

I run a weekly quiz (or at least I used to) and the best way is to avoid direct questions like what is the capital of X and have things like ditloids (18 H on a GC), or which actor links three films or which is the odd one out (give four things). I did a round recently which was titled "BJ or DT" and they were five quotations, you had to say which were by Boris Johnson and which by Donald Trump

I'm happy to email you my last 10 quizzes if you want to harvest some questions, send me a PM with your email address.

Thanks - I'd appreciate that. I'll PM my details.

If done on zoom then you could make them give their answer in chat, but make it visible to host only, then give them a very tight window to answer?

My turn to host the dreaded quiz this weekend - does anyone have any good picture rounds they’ve enjoyed?

We had a picture round on this weeks quiz which showed a zoomed in section of a brand/logo which I thought worked well. Also, it occurred to me that it would be difficult to google/cheat them. Some were quite easy - Mastercard where the red and yellow circles intersect - some were more difficult. Strangely every team guessed the Weetabix one as Nestle.

We had one a bit like that the other week which was good! Though you can cheat it (right click and google search the image) - not that we did...

I'm sure it's still possible to cheat but only using a zoomed in detail will make it harder. For example here's the 'Amazon' one (all teams got this one without googling)...

Last night our round was ‘float or sink’

Just got a bunch of items from around the flat and made people guess what would happen, then got a jug of water and showed everyone the results

Seemed to go down well and some unexpected results!

I like that. I did a similar one with 'Cheeses of the world - Sink or float'. You've got to mix things up from time to time!
