New PRS25 36mms hand comparison anyone?

    Hi all
Has anyone got both versions so we can see difference between the handsets?
I quite fancy the white version but would like to see difference as I thought the
original minute hand was too long.
    Cheers

The hands on the white version are unchanged, if that is your question.

If have a new-hand black version, and know the old hands only from images.
These are the changes I've noticed so far:
    - The minute hand is ~1mm shorter
    - The hour hand is ~1mm longer
    - The pip on the second hand is ~2mm closer to the center

I threw something together real quick.

Left: old-hands (grabbed from Instagram), Right: new-hands

It's not really ideal for a comparison, but meh, better than nothing.

Thanks for that , can see difference and like new ones better, just have to resist temptation for this and Eddie’s upcoming models! I’m trying to save for a Explorer II !

Eddie mentioned that the white Everest will get the adjusted handset as well but with the next batch. When I asked him before the last store opening (Apr 19), he still had 18 white Everests from the 1st batch in stock and said the new batch will be available for sale in at least 3 months.

Decide for yourself but I can say that I ordered a white Everest from the 1st batch 2 weeks ago and the hand proportions don't bother me a tiny bit (although I was also initially concerned). To tell the truth, looking at the new handset, I can't say I like it more - the minute hand looks wider and the lollipop is moved too close to the center for my liking. White Everest seems to be highly underrated an overlooked by the community but it's an absolutely cracking watch.

I must say, I can't really notice much of a difference and would have been pleased with either - but hey-ho

Interesting! I do like the new handset, but I'm also fine with the older one. I bought a white Everest when they first arrived and I'm wearing it now very happily indeed.

Was thinking about buying the new version and flipping the original, but ultimately decided that it wouldn't really be fair on "stumpy", whose quirks have rather grown on me during the wait :-)

I could have chosen better images for a comparison. Based on these two, I would agree with you.
The differences are more noticeable than the images suggest, though.

I wonder if the new minute hand is not only a bit shorter, but also a smidgen wider than the old one.

It's about the same. But the hour hand got slimmed down.
